6 New Year s Eve at Château de Marçay Day 1 Friday, 30th December 2016 From 3:00 pm check-in At 6:00 pm: visit of the cellar and wine tasting Descend into the depths of the castle to discover our cellar. With a homemade "plancha,", our sommelier offers wine tasting from the Castle. From 7:30 pm : Discover the Chef s dinner menus You will discover our restaurant through our menus or even "A la Carte on the basis of a starter, main course, cheese or dessert. The Chef s Gastronomic cuisine, worthy of our regional products, will give an overview of his knowledge. Our sommelier will guide you throughout the meal with suggestions of wine to accompany your meal. The evening will continue in the lounge where coffee and sweets will be served. Your night The main Castle or its West Wing welcome you with their superior and lounge rooms. On this special occasion, all rooms are at a unique and preferential rate. Day 2 Saturday, 31st December 2016 From 7.30 am to 10:30 am: Continental Breakfast: breakfast is served in room or as a buffet. We offer a wide selection of fresh produce from the local area, both sweet and savoury, and some "homemade "recipes. 11:00 am : Digging for Truffles (weather permitting): The Conquest of gastronomy continues with the discovery of our truffle field. Accompanied by a truffle grower and his dog, you will discover the art of searching for the famous Black Diamond ". From 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm : Cheese Lunch : We invite you to discover an assortment of cheeses associated to wines of the region.. From 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm : we propose that you join us around the fireplace in the main lounge for a Champagne aperitif. At 9:00 pm : we invite you to sit at La table de Marçay, where our Chef and his team have prepared a festive menu to celebrate the New Year as it should be. All this with a warm atmosphere. Day 3 Sunday, 1 st January 2017 The New Year s Brunch To get the new year off to a good start at the Castle, the Chef will prepare a brunch using fresh produce and homemade preparations", from 9 am or until 3:00 pm for those who enjoyed the night...
