2 LOWER WOODSIDE ISLE OF WIGHT CC Construction were commissioned by an existing London client to fully modernise this Grade II listed holiday home, a property of great local historical importance. With its stunning, ever-changing and totally uninterrupted marine views, the property stands just behind an imposing sea wall and gated entrance in pretty grounds which overlook the beach. The property dates back to the 1870 s and began as the builders accommodation to Seaview House. The refurbishment involved a complete rework of the internal accommodation. In order to do this a complex engineering solution had to be devised to manage an underground spring using an intricate pump system and so enabling the client to turn a large disused cellar into a fantastic living space comprising two further bedrooms that sit below the high water line just 5m away. The property has been sympathetically restored throughout with period features carefully selected to ensure an authentic feel; extensive cabinetry, luxurious bathrooms, marble fireplace, bespoke flooring and a stunning new kitchen and family area have completed this perfect beach front home. We delivered this project using our London team, key specialists and local subcontractors who were vetted and are now deployed to ensure an ongoing fast response to this property s complex maintenance needs. 4 STEVENAGE ROAD FULHAM A two phase refurbishment to the basement and ground floor of a substantial family town house in Fulham. A difficult and structurally complicated basement was supplemented with ground floor re-modelling, a new kitchen and basement access. This high specification basement fit out included some technically demanding features such as a six meter long structural glass light well. A full AV package and complex under floor heating arrangements were installed alongside a state of the art temperature controlled glass wine storage area which created the focal point to this area. Other glass works included the bespoke stair well boxing challenging in its size and precision fit requirements. Key to this project was budget control which meant working closely with the designer and the client to ensure tight control and cost saving solutions were made where possible, particularly prevalent in the glass works. Changes and add-ons to the build were in danger of exceeding budget and after consultation with all parties, CC Construction were able to take the complete glass package and offer the client a 35% saving. A great example of how we think on our feet and adapt to situations to the benefit of our clients. 6 LIVERPOOL ROAD KINGSTON UPON THAMES A turn key project. Liverpool Road was an exciting assignment for the CC team. CC Construction handled every detail of this sizeable and complex project from managing the intricacies of the planning applications to the practical execution of the job. This impressive large Victorian Villa was given a substantial overhaul which included a basement extension, five new bedrooms with walk-in wardrobe areas, a considerable ground floor bespoke kitchen and 2 storey side extension. The design team cleverly incorporated the latest in Audio Visual equipment, intelligent lighting and cutting edge home security whilst complementing the unique features of the house. 8 THE GREEN Richmond Mid 18th century Grade II listed house in one of London s most sought after addresses on Richmond Green, TW9. The exceptional original features are attributed to Sir Robert Taylor (dated circa 1760) and include a splendid ornate decorative plaster ceiling in the main living room on the first floor, traditional cornices throughout, oak paneling and Georgian fireplaces on both ground and first floors. Working closely with the local planning and conservation departments and the Archeological Society over a 12 month contract period we sensitively refurbished this beautiful building. Specialist subcontractors were deployed using traditional construction methods and materials (including lathe and lime plaster) to ensure authenticity and flawless finishes throughout. High tech audio visual and IT systems were integrated discreetly throughout, together with air conditioning, mechanical and electrical equipment. The construction work was led by a highly skilled team well versed in working with listed buildings and every step of the project was managed considerately with planning consultants, Richmond Council and the interior design team to ensure that the integrity of the building, with all of it s original features, were not compromised in any way. 10 HAYDENS PLACE NOTTING HILL This stunning 4,000 sq ft house sits in impressive green lawns within a private courtyard location and has been maintained exclusively by CC Construction over the last 10 years. The property during this time has undergone several internal and external renovations including a new kitchen, stone floors, extensive cabinetry, master bedrooms, en suite bathrooms and doors upgraded throughout. As part of the external works and to complement the existing layout of the house we worked with the client to design and construct a stunning roof terrace which provides a tranquil sun trap overlooking the courtyard gardens. The owners insist that the building is kept in pristine condition at all times and so retain CC Construction s services on a 24 hour on call basis to take care of all aspects of the building s maintenance. 12 SELBOURNE House HAMPSHIRE CC Construction were delighted to be working closely with the Helen Green Design team on this project having already successfully refurbished this client s London home. The property lies at the bottom of a beautiful valley in an idyllic location and the brief was to fully modernise and update this six bedroom house with care and consideration to its surroundings. The project involved a complete refurbishment with bespoke flooring, stone tiling, specialist joinery, lighting and sumptuous new bathrooms. Within the grounds is the housekeepers cottage which also required modernisation. This was then decorated to create a light, bright and charming abode. The existing stable block which sits behind the main building was demolished and then sensitively reconstructed to complement the adjacent buildings and complete this exquisite home. 14 Providence Square TOWER BRIDGE Speed, flexibility and creativity were key to the success of this project, working in close conjunction with London s leading design team, Nicky Haslam for NH Design. Beginning with just an outline scheme, the brief was to combine the existing penthouse and upper floors of the building to create a beautiful duplex living space. To achieve the desired results a complete strip out and remodelling programme was required. As the NH design team focussed on designing and scoping the project, the Project Management role for CC Construction was crucial to allow the flexing and changing of the design as the building works progressed to ensure the vision of the client was realised, kept within careful budgetary control and completed to the agreed fixed delivery date. 16 WILLIAM BLAKE HOUSE BATTERSEA This project included the complete refurbishment of a large Victorian schoolhouse in Battersea. This extremely rare property is made up of three floors of 2,000 sq ft each. On the ground floor we installed a 5m x 6m glass on steel dividing wall with double doors. We also used large plate glass panels on the half landings which increased light to stunning effect. The wooden floors were stripped, repaired and relaid with solid American Walnut and ultra wide pine boards. Extensive AV and lighting specifications were combined cleverly within vast pieces of bespoke joinery. The house is regularly used as a back drop for both commercial and editorial professional photo shoots.
