8 EVENTS Whether you are looking to organise a wedding, conference, drinks reception, family gathering, lunch or dinner, Macdonald Plas Talgarth Health & Leisure Club is the ideal location. We can cater for numbers from 2 to 150 guests with bespoke menus available and our events co-ordinator on hand to guide you through the event booking process. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1 All reservations will be treated as provisional and will be held for no more than 14 days pending receipt of written confirmation and non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of per person for all banqueting bookings at per person for residential bookings. 2 All alterations to a booking must be confirmed in writing. 3 Full pre-payment is required no later than 4 weeks prior to the event. All pre-payments are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of reducing numbers or cancellation. 4 Once final payment is made no refunds or credit vouchers will be given for cancellations. 5 In the event of any function having to be cancelled by the resort, an alternative date or venue will be offered or a full refund given. 6 The resort reserves the right to amalgamate Christmas events to ensure appropriate numbers. We also reserve the right to move the event to a smaller function suite should numbers dictate. Please note that shared party tables may apply to groups of less than 10 guests. 7 We reserve the right to change or cancel advertised entertainment due to circumstances out of our control. 8 Any additional service or services consumed on the night must be paid for at the end of the event. No credit facilities will be offered without prior agreement. 9 All times shown are subject to approval by the Local Licensing Authority. 10 All details are correct at the time of going to press but may be subject to alteration without prior notice. VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate at the time of payment and the resort reserves the right to amend prices accordingly. 11 All accommodation bookings must be confirmed with the required deposit and a credit card number to guarantee the apartment. All accounts must be settled on booking. 12 The management of the resort reserves the right to refuse entry to the resort. In addition, the resort reserves the right to charge the organiser, company or individual for any damages caused by unreasonable behaviour. 13 Where special requests are made, the resort will endeavour to accommodate them, however, this cannot be guaranteed. 14 A dress code is applicable to all events. Please check with the resort at time of booking. 15 Restrictions apply to children at certain events. Please check with the resort at time of booking. 16 Bookings made within 4 weeks of the event taking place will require payment in full at the time of booking. 17 *Accommodation packages The price shown is based on two people sharing a one bedroom apartment. We also have accommodation packages available with up to sleep 6 or 8 people. Subject to availability. Accommodation package includes dinner, entertainment, breakfast welcome pack in the apartment, all excursions where applicable. Electricity is payable on departure. Full payment must be made at the time of booking. Other terms and conditions apply and will be provided at the time of booking.
