3 Optional Equipment: The City of San Jose may purchase additional equipment and services within the term of the purchase order and/or the options years. These quantities are listed for information purposes only. The estimated quantities provided by the City are not guaranteed. The quantities may vary depending on the demands of the City. Any variation form these estimated quantities shall not entitle the Bidder to an adjustment in the price or to any additional compensation. The City may purchase additional equipment not listed in the parts and price forms, the vendor shall provide the City with discount of list price for this undetermined equipment. 1. Mask Fit Testing (Option) San Jose Fire Department is currently scheduled to complete mandatory mask fit testing for current SCBA product during January Bidder agrees to negotiate a separate contract with current vendor for mask fit testing to complete testing of new mask at this scheduled time. Additional Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (Option) Provide one hundred seven (107) additional Scott Air-Pak 75 or equal, open circuit, self-contained breathing apparatus as identified in Section Additional Cylinders (Option) Provide seven hundred thirty two (732) additional forty five (45) minute cylinders as identified in Section Additional Facepiece Assembly (Option) Provide one hundred fifty (150) additional Scott AV-3000 SureSeal facepieces or equal as identified in Section 4. Provide fifty (50) of each size small, medium, and large. 5. Facepiece Upgrade (Option) Provide upgrade to approximately six hundred twenty (620) AV3000 facepieces to Sureseal and CBRN compliance. These upgraded masks shall be NFPA 1981 and 1982, 2007 Edition compliant. 3

Trade-In of Existing Equipment (Option) The bidder will provide an approximate trade-in value for existing equipment. Final trade-in value will be determined after the bidder has been able to evaluate the equipment and parts inventory inperson. Credit for the existing equipment will be applied against future purchases, and will not be applied to the grant funded purchase.
