The WACC is the largest purpose designed space for all types of events on the Whitsunday mainland. The building is an arts and cultural precinct, the interior design innovation in spatial planning is unconventional and fun. You enter the building via our discovery space that captures the stories of our region, our bars are styled from relics that represent the tropical lifestyle and tapestry of our local community throughout time. Spread across 2 levels The WACC features 2 bars and an outdoor cinema, 2 main function rooms with fully-equipped stages, excellent audio visual facilities and 2 break out meeting rooms. The WACC is the largest conference venue in Airlie Beach, across multiple event spaces the building has capacity for over 1000 people with our largest room holding up to 250 banquet style or 400 theatre style. Accommodation in the region has options ranging from 3 to 5 Stars, the WACC can tailor a program to suit all budgets.
