Abstract We investigate dual of g-frames and g-riesz bases in Hilbert A- module. The purpose of this paper is to investigate some basic properties about g-riesz basis and their duals. We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a dual of a g-riesz basis to be again a g-riesz basis. Mathematics Subject Classification: 42C15, 46L08 Keywords: g-frame; g-riesz basis; dual g-sequence; Hilbert A-module 1 Introduction Frame for Hilbert space were formally defined by Duffin and schaeffer [5] in 1952 for studying some problem in non harmonic Fourier series. They were reintroduced and developed in 1986 by Daubechies, Grossman and meyer [4].

2 84 Sayyed Mehrab Ramezani and Akbar Nazari In [11] Wenchang Sun introduuced a generalization of frames and showed that this includes more other cases of generalizations of frame concept and proved that many basic properties can be derived within this more general context. The concept of frames especially the g-frame was introduced in Hilbert A-module, and some of their properties were investigated in [6] and[8]. A g-riesz basis always has a canonical dual which is necessary a g-riesz basis. Khosravi in [9] introduced the notion of modular g-riesz basis in Hilbert A- module and he shares many properties with Riesz basis and g-riesz basis in Hilbert spaces. Also in [1] Alijani gave a characterization of dual g-frame in terms of right invers of the synthesis operators. However we charactrize those g-riesz basis that have unique duals. The characterization is given in terms of the rang spaces of the analysis operators. At the end this paper we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a dual of a g-riesz basis to be again a g-riesz basis. 2 Preliminary Notes In the following we briefly recall some definitions and basic properties of Hilbert A-module and g-frames in Hilbert A-module. We first give some notations which we need later. Throughout this paper J is finite or countably index set. A is unital C -algebra with identity 1 A, U and V are finitely or countably generated Hilbert A-module and {V j } be a sequence of closed Hilbert submodules of V. For each j J, End A (U, V j) is the collection of all adjointable A-linear maps from U to V j. We also denote V j = {g = {g j } : g j V j and g j,g j is norm convergent in A} For any f = {f j } and g = {g j }, if the A-valued inner product is define by f,g = f j,g j and the norm is defined by f = f,f 1 2, then V j is a Hilbert A-module (see [10] ). Definition 2.1. Let H be a left A-module such that the linear structure of A and H are compatible, H is called a pre-hilbert A-module if H is equipped with an A-valued inner product.,. : H H Asuch that (i) αf + βg,h = α f,h + β g, h (f,g,h H,α,β C); (ii) af, g = a f,g (f,g H,a A); (iii) f,g = g, f (f,g H); (iv) f,f 0; if f,f =0then f =0.

If H is compelet with respect to the norm, it is called a Hilbert A-module or a Hilbert C -module over A. Definition 2.2. Let H be a Hilbert A-module. A collection {f j } His called a frame for H, if there exist two positive constant c, d, such that: c f,f f,f j f j,f d f,f f H (1) We call c and d the lower and upper frame bounds, respectively. If only the right-hand inequality of (1) is satisfied, we call {f j } the Bessel sequence for H with Bessel bound d. If c = d = λ, we call {f j } the λ-tight frame. Moreover, if λ = 1 we call {f j } the parseval frame. The frame is standard if for every f H, the sum in (1) converges in norm. Definition 2.3. We call a sequence {Λ j End A (U, V j) : j J} agframe in Hilbert A-module U with respect to {V j }, if there exist two positive constant C, D such that: C f,f Λ j f,λ j f D f,f f U (2) We call C and D the lower and upper g-frame bounds, respectively. Suppose that {Λ j End A (U, V j):j J} is a g-sequence for U with respect to {V j }, the pre-g-frame or analysis operator T Λ : U V j is defined by T Λ f = {Λ j f}. If {Λ j End A (U, V j):j J} be a g-bessel sequence with bound B then analysis operator T Λ is adjointable and T Λ B. Moreover TΛ {g j} = Λ j g j for all {g j } V j. The adjointable map TΛ is called synthesis operator of {Λ j}. In addition if {Λ j } is a g-frame for U with respect to {V j }, the g-frame operator S Λ, then S Λ = TΛ T Λ. Remark 2.5. For any j J, if we let V j =V=A and Λ j f = f,f j for any f U, in this case the g-frame is jast a frame for U. Definition 2.6. A g-frame {Λ j End A (U, V j) : j J} in Hilbert A- modole U with respect to {V j } is said to be a g-riesz basis if it satisfies

Definition 2.7. suppose that {Λ j } be a (standard) g-frame and {Γ j } a g-sequence for U with respect to {V j }. Then {Γ j } is said to be a (standard) dual g-sequence of {Λ j } if f = Λ j Γ jf (3) holds for all f U, where the sum in (3) converges in norm. The pair {Λ j } and {Γ j } are called a dual g-frame pair when {Γ j } is also a g-frame. Lemma 2.8. Suppose that {f j } and {g j } are two sequence of j j V j j such that both f j,f j and g j,g j converge in A, then Σ f j + g j,f j + g j 2(Σ f j,f j +Σ g j,g j ) 3 Main Results In this section we study the relations between g-riesz basis and their dual g-frame in Hilbert A-module. We begin this section with a characterization of g-riesz basis. Let P n be the projection on V that maps each element to its component, i.e. { gn j = n P n ({g j } )={f j }, where f j = 0 j n for each {g j} j j V. Theorem 3.1. Suppose that {Λ j } be a g-frame of a finitely or countably generated Hilbert A-module U with respect to {V j }.LetT Λ : U V j is the analysis operator of {Λ j }. Then {Λ j } is g-riesz basis if and only if Λ n 0and P n (RangT Λ ) RangT Λ. Proof. Suppose first {Λ j } is a g-riesz basis. Let g = {g j } (RangT Λ ) then for all f U, we have 0= {g j },T Λ f = T Λ {g j},f = Λ j g j,f So Λ jg j = 0 then Λ jg j = 0 hold for all j J.

Suppose that Λ j g j = 0 and fix n J, then P n T Λ f RangT Λ, so there exist f n U such that P n T Λ f = T Λ f n. Now for any f U we have f,λ n g n = Λ n f,g n = Λ j f n,g j = f n, Λ j g j =0 then Λ j g j = 0 hold for all n J. Not that in Hilbert space if {Λ j } is g-riesz basis then Λ j g j converges for a sequence {g j } if and only if {g j } V j, but this is not the case in setting of Hilbert A-module. We have the following example. Example 3.2. Let l be the set of all bounded complex-valued sequences. For any f = {f i } i Æ and g = {g i } i Æ in l we define fg = {f i g i } i Æ and f = max{f i } i Æ and f = {f i } i Æ then A = {l,. } is a C -algebra. Let H = C 0 be the set of all sequence congverging to zero. For any f,g Hwe define f,g = fg =(f i g i ) i Æ then H is Hilbert A-module. Corollary 3.3. See the proof of theorem 3.1. The following example shows that the dual of g-riesz basis of Hilbert A- module are quite different from the Hilbert space cases, and shows that even the dual g-sequence of g-riesz basis in Hilbert A-module is g-bessel sequence it still has the chance not to be a g-riesz basis. Example { 3.4. Suppose that H and A are the same as in example 3.2. Λ1 +Λ Now let Γ j = 2 j =1, 2 Then {Γ Λ j j 3 j } is a g-frame of H with respect to H with bounds 1, 2. Then {Λ j } is a g-frame of U with respect to {V j } if and only if there are positive constants C, D such that C f 2 Λ j f,λ j f D f 2 f U. (4) Proof. Obvious. Suppose that {Λ j } fulfills ( 4). By corollary 2.2 from [2] there are positive constants C,D such that C f,f T f,t 2 f = Λ j f,λ j f D f,f (5) This prove that {Λ j } is a g-frame for U with respect to {V j }. Proposition 3.6. Suppose that U is a finitely or countably generated Hilbert A-module over a unital C -algebra A. Let{Λ j } and {Γ j } be two g-bessel sequence of U with respect to {V j }. If f = Λ jγ j f hold for any f U, then both {Λ j } and {Γ j } are g-frame of U with respect to {V j } and f = Γ j Λ jf hold for all f U. Proof. Let us denote the g-bessel bound of {Γ j } by D Γ.

To prove our main result, we also need the following lemma. Lemma 3.7. Let {Λ j } be a g-frame of U with respect to {V j } over unital C algebra A. Suppose that {Γ j } and {Θ j } are dual g-frame of {Λ j } with property that either Rang(T Γ ) Rang(T Θ ) or Rang(T Θ ) Rang(T Γ ), where T Γ are T Θ the analysis operator of {Γ j } and {Θ j } respectively. then Γ j =Θ j for all j J. Proof. Suppose that Rang(T Θ ) Rang(T Γ ). Theorem 3.8. Suppose that {Λ j } is a g-frame for U with respect to {V j }, then the following statements are equivalent (i) {Λ j } has a unique dual g-frame; (ii) RangT Λ = V j; Proof. 2 1 Let { Λ j } be the canonical dual of {Λ j } with analysis operator. Theorem 3.9. Let {Λ j } be a g-riesz basis and {Γ j } be a g-sequence of U with respect to {V j } over a unital C -algebra A. Then {Γ j } is dual g-riesz basis of {Λ j } if and only if Γ j = Λ j +Δ j, for each j J, where {Δ j } is g-bessel sequence of U with respect to {V j } with the property that for each j J there exist a ξ j End A (V j) such that Δ j = ξ j Λj and Λ jξ j Λ j =0. It follow from proposition 3.6 that {Γ j } is a dual g-frame of {Λ j }. To complet the proof, we need to show that {Γ j } is a g-riesz basis of U with respect to {V j }. Suppose that Γ j g j =0. then we have: 0= Γ j g j = Δ j(g j )+ Λ j(g j ) = Λ j ξ j (g j)+ Λ j (g j) = Λ j ( ξ j (g j )+g j ) Therefore Λ ( ) j ξ j (g j )+g j = 0 for all j J i.e Γ j g j = 0 for all j J We now show that Γ j 0 for each j J. Assume that on the contrary that Γ n = 0 for some n J. Then Δ n = Λ n it follow that Δ n = Λ n S 1 so we have: 0=Λ n ξ nλ n (f) =Λ n ξ Λ n n S(f) =Λ n Δ ns(f) = Λ n Λ n(f) Hold for all f U.
