We would like to thank the community, volunteers, and visitors for their continued support. This month saw DiscoverE from the University of Alberta in our school running science programming, Shell Industry in the classroom, RCMP anti-bullying presentations, and Learning through the Arts. A big thank you goes out to these groups and supporters. We would like to thank RMWB for supporting the youth group from Fort Smith who came to share their talents in drama and music. We also had a group of students go to the Indigenous Youth Science and Traditional Knowledge Fair in Edmonton a big thank you goes out to ACFN and MCFN for supporting this. Thank you to Nunee for their continued support and training provided to our staff. We must also thank ATC for their support in sending students to the Traditional Ceremony of Achievement in Fort McMurray. Thank you to Tuccaro s Pool Hall for providing each of our classes with an afternoon of fun; this is a great reward system and our students are having a blast. Vice Principal s Message cont d Our Open House this month was a big success. It was great to see so many community members out and enjoying themselves here at ADCS. Thank you to all who participated and helped make this evening a success. Attendance has increased 5% this month, which is great to see! Remember that good attendance is crucial to academic success; let s make a good push to the end of the school year. As always, we have an open door policy here at the school. We love to see family and community members stopping by to volunteer, share ideas, r just chat. Come on in and see us!!
