2 CONFERENCE INFORMATION The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Law Enforcement Information Management (LEIM) Section is composed of over 1,000 information technology professionals in the law enforcement field, from agencies of all sizes. It provides a forum for law enforcement executives and information management specialists to exchange information on technology initiatives and trends with a focus on computer and information management technologies. The 34th Annual IACP LEIM Section Training Conference and Exposition will take place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, GA, May 24-27, This conference brings together law enforcement practitioners to share leading practices and lessons learned in the application of technology to fight crime. This annual conference is the only law enforcement technology professional conference designed for practitioners by practitioners. Panels of subject matter experts from around the nation and world will share best practices and lessons learned in the application of technology to fight crime and improve departmental efficiency. REGISTRATION Full registration to the 34 th Annual IACP Law Enforcement Information Management (LEIM) Training Conference and Exposition is limited to IACP members, non-members*, and exhibitors. Admittance to program activities is by IACP LEIM Conference badge. Conference activities are not open to the public. *Non-members: Sworn officers, first responders, and civilian employees of public safety and government agencies and the armed forces. Public Safety includes offices of police, sheriffs, EMS, fire service, hazmat, and park rangers from federal, state, city, county, campus, and tribal agencies, and the armed forces. Non-member registrants must work for a government or public safety agency and will be required to show credentials upon arrival. The IACP reserves the right to refuse ineligible registrations. Registration Fees** Registration (On or after March 1, 2010) o IACP member $300 o Non-IACP member $350 Law Enforcement Expo Hall Day Pass Free Sworn officers, first responders, and civilian employees of public safety and government agencies and the armed forces can register for complimentary access to the exhibit hall. To qualify for this exhibit hall only day-pass, recipients must work for a government or public safety agency and will be required to show credentials upon arrival. **Full conference registration fee includes access to all plenaries, workshops, receptions and expo hall.

3 On-line registration IACP members will need their membership number to register. Only IACP members can take advantage of the member registration rate. All IACP memberships are individual and nontransferrable for conference registration member rates. Advance and on-site registration fees will be accepted in U.S. funds only and must be drawn on a U.S. bank. All credit card payments will be processed at IACP Headquarters in U.S. funds. Once your registration is processed, you will receive an confirmation which also serves as your only receipt. Those in sworn command-level positions qualify for active membership; others may qualify for associate membership. Membership dues are $120 (U.S.) annually. Click here for IACP Membership. Those joining online will need to wait up to two business days before submitting their conference registration online. There is no charge to join the Law Enforcement Information Management (LEIM) Section, but IACP Membership is a prerequisite for Section Membership.

4 Refund Policy All cancellations must be made in writing and mailed, faxed ( ) or ed to IACP Headquarters. A penalty will apply. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. All cancellations received on or before April 16, 2010 will be refunded in full. A $75 penalty will be assessed on all cancellations postmarked or fax/ dated between April 17 - May 22, No refunds will be issued on or after May 23, 2010 unless accompanied by appropriate written justification. No refunds will be given for no-shows. It will take a minimum of six weeks to receive a refund. Registration may be transferred to another person in your organization by written request to IACP prior to May 13, After this date, all changes must be made on-site at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Additional charges may apply. LODGING/PER DIEM The conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, GA. A discounted room block has been reserved at the government per diem rate of $141 plus applicable taxes for all LEIM Conference attendees including the corporate and public sector. In order to receive the discounted rate, visit: Be sure to make you reservation as soon as possible. The rooms are on a first-come, first served basis and will sell out quickly. Hotel reservations must be made by May 1, 2010 to receive the conference rate.
