1 Donna Freiberg & Linda Rogge are participating in Avon s Walk for Breast Cancer: In it to End it As most of you know, March 21 of last year, Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer. To celebrate her One Year Anniversary as a Survivor, Linda and her sister, Donna (Chuck s wife), are participating in a 40mile - 2 day walk - June 2 nd and 3 rd. Linda and Donna will spend the next few months training, fundraising and preparing for the event. Please help to support their efforts and this cause by making a contribution. The money raised goes to the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade. This is a public charity whose mission is to provide access to care and to work toward finding a cure. They provide funding to organizations all over the country in: medical research, education programs, early detection programs, clinical care, and support services. I m very excited about doing this because I know it will make a real difference to the millions of people effected by breast cancer Donna Freiberg As I cross that finish line as a Survivor, I will carry with me the hopes of each and every person who has helped me to thrive since that life changing day when I first heard that diagnosis. 5 Crown Point Grand Opening & Mother s Day Car for a Cause! To celebrate the opening of our 5 th location in Crown Point, we are donating a car to a mother in need for Mother s Day, "Mother's Day Car for a Cause". In February, we reached out to St. Jude House, Family Violence Prevention Center and Shelter, in Crown Point to find a candidate! Applications have gone out to each location to pick the candidate you like best! We have received a majority of the responses, but please respond with your vote if you have not already done so! To make the gift extra special, we are reaching out to local businesses and vendors to help supply gas cards, insurance, oil change certificates, tire rotations, and other miscellaneous car expenses. Vehicle maintenance can be very costly, and supplying these items makes this vehicle truly a gift! The winner will be awarded the keys at our Grand Opening Event. At that time, we will surprise the winner with the other vehicle related gifts that were gathered through sponsorship. The open house will take place from 5-9 and the car will be presented at 7 pm. We are very excited about our expansion in Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana and even more excited about the opportunity to give the gift of an automobile to someone well deserving.
