Training will include excerpts from the USC Cross Connection Control Manual, videos, and exposure to all types of backflow prevention assemblies for practical, hands-on experience in preparation for testing. CDPH & CWEA approved for contact hours. Students must attend a minimum of 40 hours to qualify to take the certification exam. Instructor will provide testing info at class. Exam fee is extra. 7 Business Water Conservation: Water Use Efficiency Practitioner Gain the knowledge you need to become a Water Use Efficiency Practitioner and prepare to take the AWWA Grade 1 test. The course will provide the comprehensive range of knowledge criteria you should know and understand to be successful. 8 Business Water Exam Reviews Intensive Review for Basic Water Distribution Exam Designed for D1/D2 test candidates, this class will include distribution system overview including operation, piping, valves, appurtenances, sources of supply, water quality, disinfection, water regulations, pumps and motors, electricity (water related) and safety. It will also cover a math review including area, volume (water and trenches), flow rate and velocity, head - static and dynamic pressure, detention time, feed rate and dosing (chlorine), solution strengths, horse power, pumping and well drawdown.
