4 SCHOOL OF CREATIVE BUSINESS MANAGEMENT International Fashion Management Degree International Events Management Degree MILAN CAMPUS PAYMENT TERMS DURATION PRICE Admission Fee is required to register for any undergraduate program with SDC Milan (No admission fee is required for short courses). This fee is used to process the application and communicate with the applicants consulate in granting a study visa. Degree Fees Each BA Degree program fee is an annual fee charged each year. Fees are paid per year. To calculate the entire program cost multiply the annual fee by 3: e.g x = total course cost. Students who pay their entire Degree Program fee up front receive a 20% discount IVA All fees include 21% IVA (Italian tax) Program cancellation Each program requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. SDC Admissions department will inform students in advance if the program will proceed and in any case where a program does not proceed the enrolled students will receive a refund of all fees paid. Annual Showcase Fee Each undergraduate student wishing to participate in the annual showcase is required to pay an end of year showcase fee depending on their program level: BA Degree (3rd year students) BA Degree (2nd year students) Certificate (1st year students)

11 DURBAN & JOHANNESBURG CAMPUS PAYMENT TERMS Registration fee Considerable time and expense goes into processing each new applicant on the College system. Various goods are immediately ordered and allocated. The College therefore insists on a R Application Fee before any application is considered. Only in cases where the college refuses an application is the fee returned. If the student cancels their application the fee is not refunded. Retainer/ Deposit SDC charges a R retainer fee for all undergraduate programs only. This is a deposit retained by the college and returned to the student only on successful completion of the program. Retainers apply to all applicants except those who pay for their entire program in full. Retainers are used to cover any accounts in arrears, damages, library book fees or outstanding payments. Library book Fee Each full time undergraduate student pays a mandatory annual library book fee of R which ensures membership and usage of the library books at the Campus. The fee is minimal and is used to upgrade, repair and maintain books. Annual Showcase Fee Each undergraduate student is required to pay an end of year exhibition or showcase fee depending on their program level: BA Degree & Diploma (3rd year students) - R BA Degree & Diploma (2nd year students) - R Certificate (1st year students) - R Re-mark Fee Should a student fail mid-year assessments or end of year assessments and fall within the acceptable re-write mark range the student will be given a choice to re-submit the work and apply for a re-mark. Remarks are charged at R per remark. Only ONE remark is allowed, if the student fails a remark they fail permanently. Stationery Students are required to purchase their own stationery. SDC receives discounted stationery packs which are distributed to all students on Campus on the first day of College. Enquire with the Admissions department for latest pricing on these packs.

12 TUITION PAYMENT DATES Payment for the following options are required as follows: Monthly Quarterly Annual Full Payment In advance from 1 January until 1 December of the study year No Later than; 1st Quarter 30 November of the preceding year 2nd Quarter 29 February 3rd Quarter 31 May 4th Quarter 31 August 40 days before the new year commences 2 months before the course commences PAYMENT RESTRICTIONS 1. International (Non citizens of South Africa) students may only choose one of the following payment options: Full payment Annual payment International transfer fees are for the student s account. 2. Monthly payments may only be paid using the Netcash DEBIT ORDER system which will deduct the monthly total from either a bank account or credit card. Transaction fees are minimal and less than a cheque. The College will provide the account holder with the necessary debit order instruction form. 3. DEBIT ORDERS are only processed on the 1st day of every month over a 12 month period from 01 January to 01 December. 4. DEBIT ORDER arrangements will be automatically cancelled and the student suspended if more than two consecutive payments are returned unpaid. The full remaining fees for the year will then become payable before the student can return to campus. 5. Monthly payers who fail to provide for their debit orders will be charged an R Administration fee if their debit order is returned unpaid. 6. Interest of 5.5% is charged per month on all/any overdue tuition fees 7. Applicants on a fixed budget and cannot afford to pay for their entire course up front should note that each year fees are increased (usually by +/- 5%).
