G-CLOUD SERVICE NON-FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW The evid Scheduler Mobile App provides a modern and easily accessible way for Programme Tutors to access the information held in the evid Scheduler system. Tailored to the individual, the user can view their Diary and Request Leave from their mobile device, wherever they are. Tutors are always up to date on any changes to their planned sessions, and can view all their sessions in the past, present or future. They can request leave directly through the app and the Scheduler Administrator can then authorise their request and find the most suitable replacement using the full Windows evid Scheduler application. Where the Windows evid Scheduler application gives complete control to the Administrator to the control the running of all Programmes in all locations, the Scheduler mobile app presents just the information that is relevant to the individual tutor. This condensed view is suited to the owner of the mobile device and allows them to see only the programmes, groups and sessions that they are involved with. 1.1 FEATURES Instant anywhere/anytime access for Tutors to see their Diaries no need for Administrators to regularly /save to shared drive/print out their Diaries anymore. Ensures all staff are always up to date with the main Scheduler Application. Tutors can view all programmes, groups and sessions that they have tutored or are scheduled to tutor. Tutors can easily request Leave or cover for sessions directly through the mobile App. The Administrator can confirm these Leave requests directly through the Windows Scheduler Application with one click, tutors then see this has been confirmed in their mobile App. Tutors can see which other members of staff are on leave on any given day(s)/time(s) before they request leave. The status of all tutors can be seen at any time, allowing staff to see who is available at any time and then dial their number directly. Bring Your Own Device Tutors can use their own Android or ios mobile phone or tablet without any extra configuration required. Page 1 of December 2014

2 1.2 INFORMATION ASSURANCE The evid scheduler is IL0 and as such there are no information assurance requirements. 1.3 BACKUP/RESTORE AND DISASTER RECOVERY The evid scheduler is backed up and BCL have a disaster recovery plan in place. 1.4 ON-BOARDING AND OFF BOARDING PROCESS On-boarding There is no On-boarding offered with this service. On-boarding There is no Off-boarding offered with this service 1.5 PRICING Please consult our pricing document for our licensing terms. 1.6 SERVICE MANAGEMENT DETAILS BCL operate an ITIL compliant Service Management department and support is included within this service. 1.7 SERVICE CONSTRAINTS The PC client requires MS-Windows and the mobile client requires either an Android or ios device. 1.8 SERVICE LEVELS Service level agreements will be contracted with BCL. 1.9 FINANCIAL RECOMPENCE MODEL FOR NOT MEETING SERVICE LEVELS Financial Recompense Model for Service Levels will be contracted with BCL TRAINING One day of training is included in the initial setup of the service please refer to SFIA rate card if further on-site training is required ORDERING AND INVOICING PROCESS On receipt of an enquiry, following a short period of consultation, BCL will produce a written quotation of the service to be provided. On receipt of a valid Purchase Order, BCL will provide those services agreed in the written service quotation. To find out more about BCL s Business Analysis contact gcloud@bconline.co.uk. All orders are subject to confirmation of a written quotation within 30 days of issue. Invoices will be issued at agreed intervals or at identified milestones. 3 In the event of cancellation, BCL reserve the right to levy a charge for unrecoverable expenses Availability, Metrics & Statistics Dates agreed by BCL are in good faith are based upon information current at the time of quotation. BCL will endeavour to maintain agreed dates and timescales, but cannot be held liable for delays, slippages or consequences of services outside their control TERMINATION TERMS Termination of Service Terms and Conditions are specified in the overarching contract. Upon Termination by the client all support from BCL will cease DATA RESTORATION AND SERVICE MIGRATION There is no data restoration and service migration associated with this service CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES Where installation of client software is required the customer shall provide BCL consultants with the necessary passes and permissions to enter and enjoy all facilities needed to complete the service, including informing the consultants of company rules, security, personal facility locations and health and safety procedures. Where a consultant is required to be escorted, the customer will provide an escort. Where required, and specifically in support of training exercises, the client will be responsible for ensuring staff have a basic understanding of the current probation IT facilities TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS All technical requirements, service dependencies and detailed technical interfaces are detailed in the written quotation of the service provided by BCL TRIAL SERVICES A trial of this service is not available subject to agreement.
