Aftercare Enrichment Programs, Spring 2015 Dear parents, We are offering several enrichment classes through St. Peter Aftercare in the spring session of 2015. Please see the attached sheets for specifics on each class. If you would like your student to participate in one of these programs, please fill out the corresponding sheet, attach payment, and return it to Ms. Eichhorst, Ms. Baskin, or the Aftercare mailbox by Friday, April 17th. You must fill out the sign-up form and submit payment with it in order for your student to be placed on the class roster. Space in each class is limited, and we will fill the classes on a first come, first serve basis. Additional copies will be available online. Mad Science Class time: Wednesdays, 4:00 to 5:00 Session duration: April 22 until May 27 Cost: $95.00 Class description: Students learn scientific concepts through this fun, interactive, and hands-on science workshop. C3 Cyber Club Class time: Mondays, 4:00 to 5:00 Session duration: April 20 through May 25 Cost: $155.00 Class description: Junior Video Game Design Class- Grades 1-3 Now available for grades 1st through 3rd, this special class is specifically designed for young children to cultivate their interest to become game designers, multimedia artists, engineers, programmers and more! Give your child the opportunity to see how professional games are made. Learn cutting edge computer skills through the fun art of 3D Game Design using award winning Platinum Arts Sandbox. In this exciting class, children will use basic 3D modeling skills to create their very own video game level. They will learn to customize game attributes and build their own virtual world from scratch. Students will create puzzles and challenges using jump pads, elevators, lava, and more! Acquire computer skills, mathematics, creativity and basic problem solving skills. Looking for a way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of video game design? Super Soccer Stars Class time: Beginner group- Wednesdays, 4:00 to 5:00 Session duration: April 22 through May 27 Cost: $125.00 Class description: At Super Soccer Stars, it is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Our philosophy is to use soccer to nurture, to build self-confidence, and to develop teamwork in every class. should be made out to St. Peter School and should indicate Super Soccer Stars on the memo line.

C3 Cyber Club Class time: Thursdays, 4:00 to 5:00 Session duration: April 23 through May 25 Cost: $155.00 Class description: Lego Robotics Sports (K-2) Powered by the LEGO Education We do Base Set and Software, our Jr. Lego Robotics class combines the exciting world of Lego with programming to manipulate and program your own personal robots. This commands for their robots to follow by using an application with a drag and drop interface that is visually simple to use, but capable of complex instructions. Students learn the importance of teamwork by working together with a partner in order to accomplish the build assignment for the day. Bring out your inner engineer!
