Receive your business associates, family or friends at elegantly styled tables. For a standing dinner reception, guests can enjoy their delicious meal, without the limitation of fixed seating. You and your guests are free to mingle and move through the different, richly decorated period rooms. The meals are served during the evening and tailored to your every need. Reception or cocktail party Arrive in style with a saloon boat. The Museum is also the perfect location for your reception or cocktail party. The period rooms are the most exquisite place to celebrate your special event, to cap off your brainstorming day or to begin the night s festivities. We can provide a complete setting for you. Sail with your guests in a saloon boat to our quay where you will be greeted upon arrival with a glass of champagne. Get married in a romantic canal house? Our period rooms offer the perfect ambience for an intimate and elegant wedding. The Museum is an official wedding reception: in the beautifully decorated Andriessen Room, in the Front Room, with views onto the Herengracht, or in the Main Room, which looks out on to the lush gardens. Here, the words I do are even more memorable. For that extra special entrance, it is possible to arrive by boat at our quay. An arrival by carriage is also possible. The gardens provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photography, while the guests are entertained by the museum s 40-minute interactive multimedia tour. During the exhibition, you will be introduced to one of the most spectacular town planning projects in the world: the 17th century canal ring of Amsterdam.
