INTERRUPTED LOAD ARM Te nterrupted load alarm functon enables te GTT to dagnose a varaton of te load current (compared to a set lmt), dstngusng t from one caused by a cange n grd voltage. e. Te sold state power unt must terefore be suppled wt te voltage appled to te load termnals,.e.: LOAD (): already connected nternally; LINE ( or ): connect termnal for voltages from 150 to 300V; connect termnal for voltages from 300 to 530V. Te alarm actvates (relay closed and yellow alarm LED on) wen te current, durng te conducton of te devce, falls below a preset level tat may be adjusted usng te trmmer on te faceplate. Calbrato procedure (refer to te faceplate descrpton drawng) 1) Use te adjustment system (or a calbrator) n order to supply te maxmum sgnal (100% conducton or tered LED always llumnated). As an alternatve, you can confgure te GTT to 0-10 V DC nput confguraton and connect termnals 5 and 6. 2) Use a current sensng plers to ceck tat te load current s at rated level. 3) Turn alarm lmt adjustment trmmer (g) fully clockwse. Ceck tat yellow alarm LED (b) turns on. 4) Slowly turn trmmer (g) counterclockwse untl te alarm LED turns off. 5) Turn te trmmer counterclockwse anoter 1/10 of a turn (1 notc on te scale). In ts way, te alarm lmt s set below 10% of te rated load current. N.B: te partal load break alarm functon operates wt power partalzaton exceedng 15%. For partalzatons below 20%, trppng tmes ncrease due to te reduced load actvaton tme. For correct operaton of te opton, te load current as to exceed 30% of rated current for te GTT. Notes on use of te GTT wt te dgtal On/Off control - Te logc control sgnal as to be connected wt te correct polartes to termnals 4 and 5 of te analog nput. - Turn mnmum adjustment trmmer (d) fully counterclockwse and maxmum adjustment trmmer (e) fully clockwse. - Set te 3 dp swtces (f) to off. For applcatons wt a very sort work cycle, you can drve te sold state group by means of te Master/Slave sgnal by drvng t wt a dgtal sgnal (OFF = 0 V dc; = from 4 V dc to 10 V dc) Inbtng te GTT You can nbt operaton of te GTT by means of te Master/Slave sgnal. To nbt, connect control sgnal - (4) wt te syncronsm sgnal for Master/Slave connecton (3). Notes on use of te GTT n Master/Slave confguraton Te GTT can be used as a master to drve oter sold state groups (slaves). Wt Master/Slave sgnal (3), you can drve up to 9 GTTs (see connecton examples for GTT sold state power relays wt tree-pase load). You can also use a GTT to drve GTS sold state power relays (maxmum of 2), as sown n te connecton dagrams for GTT/GTS sold state power relays wt tree-pase load (attenton: te HB opton cannot be used for a tree-pase applcaton wt neutral).
