BA Visual Communication and Digital Publishing (In conjunction with the University of Abertay Dundee) G GLENROTHES Course code: BAVCDP One Year Full-time after HND or equivalent Graphic designers are at the forefront of a new communication revolution. In contemporary design there is a synthesis of old and new processes and an exploration of their potential without concern about respecting or erecting boundaries. In effect, the Graphic Design industry has become a digital democracy where more and more decisions are made through the accessibility of technology. The potential for creative input is vast and this course focuses on the development of this experimental new medium. BA Interactive Media: Television (In conjunction with the University of Abertay Dundee) G GLENROTHES Course code: BAITP One Year Full-time after HND For the first time TV is becoming something the viewer can control and use for information and communication on demand, using existing methods of delivery and also emerging mobile technologies. Traditional and new media organisations are turning their attention to the new technologies and content designed to meet this demand. Many companies, such as the BBC, have built divisions dedicated to interactive television and are demanding new media professionals to lead them. This degree is designed to produce industry-ready graduates with first-hand experience in delivering interactive content, while equipping them with transferable skills and knowledge. BA Learning Difficulties/Disabilities (In conjunction with the University of Abertay Dundee) K KIRKCALDY Course code: BALDD One Year Full-time or Two Years Part-time We are the only college in Scotland to offer this degree. It has been running for over ten years and is one of the most popular degrees at the College. You will have the chance to attend a summer school in August, which offers preparation for degree study. This degree offers the possibility of career enhancement within the field of Learning Difficulty in both Education and Social Care. Opportunities for post-graduate study at Higher Education may be available.
