TERMS & CONDITIONS APPLYING TO HOLD A PRIVATE GOLF EVENT / COMPETITION AT SICC All applications for private competition in SICC are subject to availability and will only be valid with a confirmation letter issued by the Golfing Office. GOLF COURSE 1. Only the SIME / ISLAND / NEW COURSE will be available for private events / competitions. 2. Depending on the number of competitors, the course may not be completely closed for the sole purpose of the event / competition. At the discretion of Management, other players may still be allowed to play on the course. BOOKING 3. All bookings must be made by a member of SICC, unless otherwise approved by the General Committee. In such cases, a deposit of $5,000.00 must be made in advance. 4. There shall not be two private events/competitions allowed at the same location on the same day. 5. A telephone booking is acceptable which is to be followed by a written confirmation of at least 2 weeks in advance to the Golf Events Executive. 6. Confirmation of event booking will only be issued by SICC upon receipt of the Application Form and payment of Booking Fee (a crossed cheque made payable to Singapore Island Country Club). 7. The event booking cannot be confirmed unless the applicant pays the booking fee in full and complete all the necessary documentation required by SICC. The booking fee paid in advance is non-refundable and shall not be used to offset against other expenses incurred by the organiser. 8. Booking fees (Course Reservation) are as follows (non-refundable): - No. of golfers Weekdays 1 to 20 $300.00 21 to 40 $600.00 41 to 60 $900.00 61 to 144 $ 900.00 plus $15.00 for each additional golfer above 60 players 9. SICC will not be responsible for any costs or liabilities incurred by the booking member for any cancellation of previously approved bookings. GREEN FEES 10. SICC members are exempted from paying green fees. 1

11. For each non-sicc member, green fees payable are: - Updated as of October 2012 Course Green Fees (weekdays) Island $100.00 Sime $120.00 New $180.00 12. Green fees tags will be issued on the day of the event / competition. DAYS ALLOWED 13. Private events/ competitions are allowed only on weekdays unless otherwise approved in advance by the General Committee. 14. Should a public holiday coincide with any of these days, no private events/ competitions will be allowed. 15. No private event / competition shall be allowed in the mornings of the following days due to course maintenance: Course New Bukit Island/Sime Maintenance days (AM) Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings Monday and Friday mornings Tuesday and Thursday mornings MINIMUM / MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS 16. The minimum number of golfers for shotgun start per session is 100 and the maximum is 144. Should the actual number of players fall short of 100, the Member/Organiser will still be charged green fees based on the minimum field of 100 players on weekdays and 144 on weekends respectively. REPORTING TIME 17. Timesheet Start : All players shall report to the starter 10 minutes before the starting time. Shotgun Start : All players shall be seated at their respective buggies 15 minutes before starting time to be led out to their respective holes. BUGGIES Minimum Weekday Maximum Time Sheet 12 128 Shotgun 100 144 18. The use of buggies for private event / competitions at SIME / ISLAND / NEW COURSE is compulsory. For each player, buggy fees payable are $ 22.00. Additional Buggies are at $50.00 per additional buggy. 2

19. The organiser shall check and report any damage upon taking delivery of any golf buggies. The organiser shall accept liability for any damages to the buggies and the repair costs. In a case of damages, the organiser shall make a pre-payment of $500.00 per buggy. If the repair cost is less than $500.00, SICC will refund the difference. If the repair cost is more than $500.00, the difference shall be reimbursed by the organiser to SICC upon receipt of invoice. 20. Persons below the age of 18 are not allowed to drive the golf buggies except with the approval of SICC. CADDIES 21. Only one caddy is allowed per buggy at a charge of $80.00 per caddy. Maximum caddies allowed per flight: 2 caddies. (This is subject to availability of caddies.) SHOTGUN START CHARGES 22. There will be a shotgun start fee of $1,500.00 per course per session if any. (Shot gun start will only be allowed and is compulsory if the number of players exceed 100.) REGISTRATION / STORAGE AND ISSUANCE OF GOODIE BAGS 23. The Member/ Organiser will provide their own manpower to prepare and issue goodie bags/ gift items, as well as the set up and removal of the event s signage. All branding and signage display for the event have to be authorised by SICC. 24. All issuance of goodie bag / gift items (in any form) shall only be given out at the Registration Area stipulated inside the SICC Golf Reception, Island Clubhouse, should the game be played at either Island or New Course. 25. The organiser is allowed to bring in their items one day in advance during office hours (9am to 6pm). 26. Due to our limited storage area, balance of items must be collected within two (2) days after the event. Otherwise the club reserves the right to dispose of the balance. 27. Registration will be done solely inside the SICC Golf Reception. DRAW 28. The organizer shall prepare the draw, indicating each player s handicap. The organizer shall submit a copy of the draw to the Golfing Section at least three (3) days before the event / competition day, failing which, SICC shall not be responsible for preparation of scorecard labels, golf bag tags and other services. 29. Green fees will be charged for players whose SICC membership numbers are not indicated in the draw. 30. After the draw, no major changes shall be allowed. 3

LOCKER KEYS 31. Players shall return the locker key by the end of the day. An amount of $40.00 (including GST will be charged for any missing or damaged keys. 32. The organizer shall accept liability for non-payment of the charge by any player. COMPUTER SCORING AND ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGES 33. All events / competitions shall be managed by SICC and the following charges shall be payable: - Computer Scoring (Includes registration and printing of scorecards with players' names before play) No. of players 1 to 144 players $300.00 Novelty Events (Includes flags and drawing lines for novelty events) Additional Staff Additional operational charges to be determined by the club and subject to availability. $50.00 Charges per course per session $60.00 per marker CANCELLATION 34. Intention to cancel a booking or change in number of flights must be given in writing by the member. However, the following forfeitures will apply:- a) Condition Forfeiture Management s decision to Full Refund close the course due to unforeseen circumstances. b) Once confirmation letter has $ 300.00 been sent. c) Less than 1 month notice 50% of Full Booking Fee and Green Fees d) Less than fourteen (14) days Full Booking Fee notice e) Less than 3 days notice Full Booking Fee and Green Fees HOLE-IN-ONE CAR DISPLAY 35. The Club shall not be liable for any damage to the car(s). 36. The advertising car should be done after 6pm one day prior to the event / competition and must be removed immediately after the event / competition. 4

37. Prize of car(s) may be displayed. The organiser shall liaise with the Golf Events Executive for a prior permission and arrangements. HANDICAP CERTIFICATE 38. The member making the booking is to ensure that all participants have a valid USGA or equivalent handicap: - For Men For Women : 36.4 and below : 40.4 and below 39. Handicap certificates must be produced upon request. The onus is on the member/organiser to ensure that all golfers have valid handicaps. 40. Golfers found not proficient will be stopped from further playing on the golf course. PACE OF PLAY 41. Maximum time to complete 18 holes play is 4 hours and 20 minutes. 42. The club takes a serious view on slow play. SICC reserves the right to stop a player to continue his / her play in the event of his / her dangerous and/or slow play. PROPER GOLF ETIQUETTE 43. It is the member/organizer s responsibility to ensure that all players practice proper golf etiquette which includes maintaining the golf courses in good playing condition by repairing divot holes, repairing ball marks on the green and raking bunkers. 44. The organizer shall be responsible for the conduct and behaviour of all participants for as long as they remain in the precinct of the Club. SICC reserves the right to forbid any player who does not behave properly or act contrary to the interest of the Club, while on its premises. 45. SICC reserves the right to expel any player who does not behave properly or act contrary to the interest of SICC, while on the club s premises. DRESS CODE 46. *All golfers should be suitably attired when playing on the Club s courses or practice areas. They should wear shoes and clothes in keeping with good taste and decorum of the club. 47. The Management shall have the final decision with regards to the acceptance of dress code. INCLEMENT WEATHER 48. The declaration to close the course as a result of unplayable circumstances due to inclement weather or any other reasons is at the discretion of SICC. 49. There shall be no rain check for players who have teed off or who do not wish to continue when the course re-opens for play. 5

50. The course shall be closed at 7.00pm irrespective of whether all the golfers have completed their game. ADVERTISING MATERIALS 51. The event / competition should not be used for the purpose of commercial gain. In general, the club will not allow the display of any advertising materials whether for display in the Club s premises or on the golf course, except with the prior written permission of the Club. Approved advertising materials will be subjected to advertisement charges. 52. All advertising materials, including banners, should be standing banners with support backing only. Hanging banners from point to point are not allowed. 53. Approved advertising materials shall be installed only during office hours, preferably in the afternoon prior to the day of the event / competition. 54. All advertisement materials must be removed and dismantled from the club premises, without damaging the Club s property, immediately after completion of the event. RENTAL OF VIP CHANGING ROOM (ISLAND LOCATION ONLY) 55. The rental of VIP Changing Room is S$500.00 per session. RENTAL OF GOLF SHOES AND CLUBS 56. There are no rentals of golf shoes in the Club. 57. A set of golf clubs is at S$65.00 nett per set per 18 holes. If required, this should be informed at least the day before the private event / competition. DRIVING RANGE 58. The hours of operation for the Driving Range is from 6.30am to 10pm. Range balls are at S$4.00 per 100 balls. PATRONAGE OF CLUB S FOOD & BEVERAGE OUTLETS 59. Approval of application is subjected to participants making use of the Club s Food & Beverage service with prices quoted by the F&B Department. 60. A surcharge of $20 per person (for groups of 30 and more) will be levied on private events / competitions failing to host a post-game lunch/dinner function at the club. 61. A minimum of 72 hours notice is required for any intention to cancel the catering service. A surcharge for short notice of cancellation is as follows:- a) Less than 3 days notice : 60% of total menu cost b) Less than 24 hours notice : Full charge on menu cost 6

INDEMNITY Updated as of October 2012 63. The organiser accepts and agrees that SICC shall not accept liability or responsibility for any injury, death and/or damage caused or attributable to causes beyond the control of the Club (including but not limited to terrorist acts). SICC specifically disclaims any personal injury, death and/or property loss and/or damage to all relevant persons and their respective properties caused or attributable to causes beyond the control of the Club (including a terrorist act or acts) or for any disruption to access to the Club or its premises or facilities or any closure of the same time. PERSONAL EFFECTS 64. SICC shall not be responsible for the loss or damage of any personal effects belonging to the Member/Organiser, players or helpers. 65. At all times, golfers are advised to carry their cash and valuables with them. They should not leave it in the buggies or their golf bags and utilise the lockers as much as possible. OTHER INFORMATION 66. These terms and conditions are subject to periodic review and changes without prior notice. 67. SICC reserves the right to revise all charges, and terms and conditions without prior notice. 68. These terms and conditions for members applying to hold a private golf event /competition supersede all previous terms and conditions for the same purpose. 69. Following the event / competition, all outstanding monies will be charged under the member s account, or a master bill will be forwarded to the organizer. 70. The member/organizer will have to sign on the attached application form to acknowledge that he/she has read and is aware of the above information. 71. The booking will only be acknowledged when accompanied by a confirmation letter issued by the golfing office. 72. All fees and charges are subjected to prevailing GST. 73. The Member/ Organiser will be responsible for the behaviour of his guests, on and off the course. 74. There shall be strictly no spectators allowed on the golf course. 75. The golf course is offered for private golf events / competitions on the understanding that routine or extensive maintenance works may be carried out from time to time, at the discretion of the Management. -----------------------------------------------------------------End---------------------------------------------------------------- 7
