2 General Conditions 1. Eligibility The Trump International Golf Links Scotland Men s Amateur 2013 Open is an eighteen hole open played over the Championship Links golf course. Open to all male golfers with a certified handicap of no more than 12. Entries for the Trump Open will be accepted from players that conform in all respects to the current Amateur Status Rules of the R&A and currently hold an approved handicap certified by a national golf association approved by an official golfing body such as EGA, CONGU or USGA. All details (amateur status, handicap, home club, etc) stated on the competitor entry form must be true and accurate at the time of completion and certified by an official of the competitor s home club. Entries will be accepted by the official entry form or photocopies thereof. Entry forms must be submitted to the Trump Professional Shop not later than the closing date, 1 st August (LATE ENTRIES NOW BEING ACCEPETD, CLOSING DATE 31 ST AUGUST 2013, 5:00PM) All entries shall be subject to the approval by The Trump Championship Committee which reserves the right to accept or refuse, or having accepted, to subsequently reject any entry without giving reason for its decision, which shall be final. Entries will be accepted in the form of bookings@trumpgolfscotland.com The Championship Committee reserves the right to disqualify any competitor making false statement on the entry form. On the closing date of entries the committee will administer a ballot according to handicap. Competitors who are unsuccessful will receive a refund in full. If oversubscribed there will be a waiting list on handicap order. 2. Form of Play The format will be decided by 18 holes stroke-play played over the Championship Links Golf Course. The player with the lowest gross score over 18 holes will be the 2013 Trump Open Champion. In the event of a tie, prizewinners will be decided in a sequence of the best score over the last 9,6,3,2,1 hole(s) respectively. This is a handicap qualifying competition and all scores will be electronically transmitted to your respected home clubs. Pace of play will be monitored and any breach of this will be penalised at the discretion of the Trump Championship Committee. (Please play a provisional ball if in doubt, or the two ball rule if

3 in question of a rules decision, and in any event as so directed by official referees, or persons thereof, appointed by the Trump Championship Committee.) In the event of the championship being oversubscribed, entries will be decided by the exact handicap as stated at the time of closing date. This will take place immediately after the closing date for entries. Unsuccessful entrants will be informed without delay and will be put on a waiting list and may be given the opportunity to enter if withdrawals occur. There will be referees available on the golf course. The format will be stroke-play. 3. Entry Fees The Entry Fee is 100 payable in cash, cheque or debit / credit card. Payment should be submitted with the completed entry form. No entry form will be accepted unless accompanied by appropriate payment. In the event of withdrawal after the closing date, 1st August 2013, the entry fee will not be refunded. 4. Trolleys and Carts Only Trump lightweight trolleys will be permitted and will be available for hire from the Trump Professional shop. Electric Carts are not permitted to be used in the Trump Open, unless requested by a competitor with a permanent physical impairment, at which point a valid medical certificate must be produced. 5. Rules The Trump Open will be played in accordance with the rules of golf as approved by the R&A and in accordance with the local rules endorsed by the Trump Championship Committee. The Trump Championship Committee reserves the right to undertake random checks on conforming equipment. 6. Registration Players must register no later than 60 minutes prior to their starting time. The draw will be made shortly after the closing date and will be available to view on the website and a copy sent via to each competitor. The Championship Committee reserves the right to amend starting times after the draw has been publicised.

4 Official Registration will take place at a location in the Trump golf house as determined by the Trump Championship Committee. 7. Practice The entry fee does not include a practice round. The Fee for a practice round is set at 97.50, available only on a selection of dates from August 12 th to September 20 th 2013 subject to availability. Players wishing to book a practice round should do so through our reservations and bookings department at bookings@trumpgolfscotland.com. 8. Golfhouse The Golfhouse will be open and available for meals and refreshments throughout the duration of the day from 6:45am until late on the day of the competition. A halfway house BBQ will also run during the time of play and available to any spectators watching. 9. Course conditions The use of mobile phones by players while on the golf course is absolutely prohibited even in silent mode and can only be used in a state of emergency. Breach of this condition will result in disqualification. Distance measurement devices are not permitted during championship play. The speed of play will be monitored by the Trump Championship Committee and designated persons thereof. 10. Locker Rooms The visitors locker room will be available for all players and guests. 12. Caddies Our professionally trained caddies can be directly booked for the day of play and for the practice round through our caddie master at caddiemaster@trumpgolfscotland.com

5 13. Prizefund Scratch Handicap 1 st st nd nd rd rd 200 The prize giving will be held shortly after the close of play in the Golfhouse. No player may win more than one prize. Prizes will be designated in order of priority and be split into gross. Please note that while attendance at the prize giving ceremony is not compulsory, it is hoped all competitors will adhere to the spirit of the game and attend the prize giving ceremony.
