1 Greetings! It s a new year at Orangebrook Golf & Country Club! We are looking forward to welcoming back our renewing members and greeting new friends for the year. We have served our patrons for over 80 years and are dedicated to making this year one that is filled with fun and great golf. We have faced many challenges over the summer with the golf course. Our greens, fairways, teeing areas and practice facilities have been aerified, verticut and fertilized. We have made updates to our driving range with new range balls and updated practice targets. Our biggest challenge this summer has been record amount of rainfall in June and July. Due to this record rainfall, we have resodded some playing areas including certain fairways and a few putting greens. The staff has painted hole signs and yardage markers on both courses, fixed potholes in cart paths, and replaced some tee markers on the east course. We are striving to make improvements to the golf course, and will be a work in progress for the formidable future. New for this year, we have included additional value to your membership. We have extended the advanced tee times from 5 days to 7 days this year. We have also included Member-only events that will be taking place throughout the season. These events include complimentary group clinics offered monthly, couples events, team events, and a season-ending Men s and Ladies Club Championship. This year we will be returning to our historic Florida roots by focusing on what we all love best- GOLF! Sign up by October 31, 2014, and receive an additional complimentary round of golf! We have a variety of creative options to meet your needs so please review the attached membership offerings and select the one that suits your lifestyle. 5 Member Rules and Riding Statement New for the season, Members will only need to sign the Rules and Riding Statement below once. Members checking in to play golf, will still need to register with the Starter before beginning play, however, a signature and phone number will not be required. Please read carefully the Rules and Riding Statement and sign below to agree to all terms presented in the statement. For and in consideration of the rental of the assigned golf car to me, I promise and agree to return said golf car immediately following the completion of the number of holes paid for on this rental agreement. I agree that said golf car will be in as good condition as I received, normal wear being expected. I promise and agree to pay for any and all damages that are sustained to the said golf care other than normal wear, while the same is in my possession. 6 Private Electric Cart Membership Policies All Members wishing to use their own private cart must fill out the Private Electric Cart Membership Policy form below. No gas carts will be accepted on golf course property. Only Orangebrook Golf & Country Club Members will be allowed to register their electric cart. Non-members may not use their personal electric carts on property. Please review the following criteria for registering your private cart. A. The insurance must indicate specifically that your private cart is covered under your homeowners or automobile insurance. B. Minimum coverage required is $300,000 liability for bodily injury and $25,000 for property damage. C. Any lapse in coverage will allow Orangebrook Golf & Country Club and the City of Hollywood to cancel registration of any private electric cart, thereby prohibiting any use of said cart on any portion of Orangebrook Golf & Country Club. D. Orangebrook Golf & Country Club will be allowed to implement a $ administration fee to reinstate any registration due to lack of insurance. E. Private electric cart operators or passengers may not bring food or beverages onto golf course property. F. The annual fee for Private Electric Cart registration is $25.00, plus tax. G.
