7 Agreement and Obligations DRESS CODE Proper golfing attire is a requirement for all tournament participants and must be worn at all times. The tournament coordinator must advise participants there is a dress code at the facility and those who do not abide by the dress code shall be denied access to the course, driving range, putting green and Pavilion. Players in non-conforming apparel will NOT have their golf play credited. The tournament shall be duly charged. SPEED OF PLAY Under a tournament TEE-TIME format we expect that rounds of golf shall take anywhere between 4 hours and 15 minutes to no more than FIVE HOURS. The Course Marshal monitors play as well as our GPS TAG System which not only shows the time it is taking each individual to play, but records exactly on our golf course where their cart travels. Failure to keep up to the group ahead of you will cause us to move your group ahead to the next group. The golf course will be cleared at 12:45 pm for all morning Shotgun starts. POWER CART The use of our new Yamaha Power Carts equipped with tracking GPS, is a privilege, not a right. If participants are seen abusing power carts in any way, they will lose this privilege and be asked to return to the Pavilion immediately. If in the event of inebriated operators on these power carts, they also shall be asked to immediately give up their cart and the potential of police intervention is possible. The Tournament Agrees to: a) keep all the Club s facilities in the same condition as when their event began, understands that MacDonald Island Park shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever to persons or property resulting from fire, storms, theft, etc. or any loss arising from the use and or operation of any part of the facilities, and b) the Tournament Chairperson will pay or reimburse MacDonald Island Park for any damage to grounds, buildings, power carts, rental golf equipment, carts or equipment caused by the tournament or the Tournament s guests. I have read and I understand these tournament obligations, I understand that, as signing authority for my tournament I am responsible for damages done to the course, any of its equipment, buildings, etc and agree to be held financially liable for any and all damages caused. 8 Agreement and Obligations DEPOSIT A deposit of 25% of the estimated GOLF total is required to book the tournament date. Once your tournament is approved by the CPGA Director of Golf, you will then be appointed a CPGA tournament host to guide you through your tournament process. He/she will attend any meetings you require them to, as well as being in attendance from a minimum of one hour prior to your tee off until the time we hand you off to our world-class Hospitality Department. CONFIRMATIONS The actual number of golfers/meals must be confirmed to the Miskanaw Pro Shop at least 72 hours prior to your event s starting time. Please convey any change to these numbers 72 hours in advance and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. If you DO NOT confirm the exact number of golfers/meals, 72 hours prior, your event will be charged fees for all the golfers and all the meals as written on the tournament application. Only in very rare occurrences can the tournament exceed the number of golfers approved on the tournament application form. Please consult with your tournament host to discuss the option of being able to expand your numbers. TEE TIMES A list of players shall be submitted, preferably on an EXCEL SPREADSHEET and ED to the rob.macgregor@macdonaldisland.ca, a minimum of 72 hours prior to our tee times. PAYMENT All outstanding fees are due in full on the first business day following the tournament date. Invoicing for tournaments may be allowed OAC or if guaranteed with a valid credit card. Any additional charges, over and above those incurred during the normal day of the event shall be invoiced directly to the Chairperson OR if authorized, charged to a filed credit card. If a tournament is paying in the Pro Shop, L U MP SUMS only will be accepted. Unfortunately we are unable to process dozens of players in a tournament format individually at the time of play. It causes confusion and more importantly, delay for your event. Individual payment IS NOT accepted at the time of play. SHOTGUN Shotgun formats require a minimum of 144 golfers (event will be charged for 144 players even if all spots are not filled) In the event that a tournament has in excess of 144 players, we will charge the individual tournament rate to each player over 144. REFUNDS No refunds in whole or in part shall be given. The lone exception is that of if the golf course is closed due to weather conditions. Tournaments on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays will be scheduled to start at 11am or later. Please your list of players to Rob MacGregor at rob.macgregor@onerec.ca 8

PLAYERS All tournaments must obey the direction of the starter, marshal, Pro Shop staff or management. The Club reserves the right to cancel or suspend playing privileges without compensation of any sort to any one person or the entire group, for any violation or action which is determined to be abusive or offensive to the property, staff or general public and well-being of the Club and the Island. This includes removal of power carts from groups if they are deemed to be operating them in a dangerous or unsafe manner. Cart privileges can be instantly lost if the operators are noticeably inebriated, and the police will be called at this time. GOLF CLUBS All players must have their own set of clubs and golf bag. Rental equipment is available. DAMAGE POLICY All tournament participants are liable for any damage to the golf course or the complex and all t he repair costs and invoices are that of the responsibility of the tournament CHAIRPERSON or ORGANIZER. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES Alcoholic beverages shall be served to customers in the licensed portions of the golf course and facility, in accordance with the ALBERTA GAMING AND LIQUOR COMMISSION. It is illegal to bring any alcohol on the course that was not purchased from the licensed portions of the Club. This alcohol will immediately be seized and not returned. Liquor voucher booklets can be purchased at a cost of $7 per drink. Vouchers are valid on Beverage Carts, at the Fox Den Lounge, Golf Concession and at your banquet. 9
