Parents, please walk your children (grade 6 and under) to the softball field. Spirit Week All Divisions Monday, September 15 Nautical Day Sail into spirit week dressed as a Sailor or in your favorite Seafaring attire! Tuesday, September 16 Tacky Tuesday Wear your favorite sport shirt and Jazz it up with crazy socks! Wednesday, September 17 Texas Day Come dressed in your favorite cowboy/cowgirl attire Boots and hats are a must! Thursday, September 18- USA DAY America the beautiful!!! Show your pride and wear RED, WHITE and BLUE. Camo is great too! Friday, September 19 Anchor s Away... It s time to drop the anchor on another Homecoming! Wear your Homecoming T- shirt to school and we will see you at the game tonight! Should students choose not to participate, the school uniform must be worn. All non-uniform guidelines apply. Proceeds from the Homecoming T-shirt go toward the fireworks show.

Parade Entry Form Entry: (Type of Entry: Car, Club, Sport, etc.) Activity will be: Driving or Walking (Circle one) Contact Person: Cell number: E mail: Return the top portion to Lori Lane (Middle School Box) by Tuesday, September 16, 2014. You will receive an email/mail with a map and your parade number. Parade Participant Guidelines: Keep this! Safety is our number one priority; therefore, NO vehicle will be allowed in the parade unless it has been registered with Lori Lane by Tuesday, September 16, 2014. All vehicles must be in their assigned parade spot by 5:15 p.m., Friday evening. If you arrive late, you will have to enter at the ECC and tack on at the end of the parade. Vehicles must travel less than 5 mph and keep a safe distance between the other parade entries. No candy or other items may be thrown from cars or by parade participants. Parade begins at the ECC and ends behind the MAC, with the exception of the children who are walking with their classes. These children will be led to the COURTYARD (the area between the SAC and the Upper School) and will remain there until they are picked up by their parents. No one should exit a vehicle or the parade route until they reach the end of the parade (drop off in front of school). Remember. Have fun, smile, cheer, and wave!!!

Safety Guidelines While you and your family are on campus, safety is our top priority. To keep our children safe and to ensure that everyone has a wonderful evening, please follow these safety guidelines. A parent must accompany students in 6th grade or below. Parents and children should remain together except while the children are marching in the parade. Parents will line the parade route all the way down to the football field. Please refrain from walking through the parade procession. Parents K 6 please pick up your children at the END of the parade in the courtyard. This is the landscaped area between the SAC and the Upper School. ECC children who ride in the Oak bus during the parade will be released in front of the Fine Arts/Information Building. They will remain with their teacher until you arrive.

Homecoming Parade Permission Slip 2014 To be filled out by Early Childhood Center and Lower School Parents only. My child has permission to participate in the grade s Homecoming Parade. I have read all of the parade participant guidelines and am aware of my responsibilities. Parent or Guardian Signature Please return to child s homeroom teacher by September 16, 2014 if your child will be participating in the parade. Homecoming 2014 Parade Participant Guidelines If your child is going to participate in the Homecoming parade: They will be walking with their class. You must be at Oakridge the entire time your child is here. Your entire family is welcome to come for all or part of the evening. You must WALK your children to their class meeting spot, at the SOFTBALL FIELD behind the wetlands, no later than 5:45p.m. Parents line the spinal road and enjoy the parade. You must pick up your child at the END of the parade in the COURTYARD. ECC WILL BE IN THE FRONT OF THE SCHOOL AND LS WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE (the area between the SAC and the Upper School). If your family stays for the football game, parents and children should remain together.
