1 Attention upcoming 7 th - 10 th graders: You are invited to join the IT and Web Design faculty at Carteret Community College for an action packed week of Video Game Design, Development, and Play. JUNE 20 24, 2016 VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT SUMMER CAMP Five Full Days 8:30 am until 3:30 pm Monday: Animation & Programming Basics Tuesday: Music & Level Design Wednesday: Adventure Games Thursday: Physics Games Friday: Collaborative Exercise, Play, & Pizza Party Design Develop Publish Play!!! Over the course of a week, you will learn the basics of video game design and will build several adventure and physics-based games. You will develop a foundation of programming basics and then apply your skills to a different type of game each day. Work on a collaborative project with friends. At the end of the week, show off your original games and play them with friends and family. No prior programming experience required. It is our desire to keep the camp small so the instructors will be able to devote ample one-on-one attention to each student.
