Coordinator - Stakeholder Relations & Engagement Home to a thriving and diverse community, the City of Swan is committed to creating a rewarding place to live, work and recreate. This dynamic position is an opportunity to provide strategic stakeholder management and advocacy advice to the City's Executive and Councillors, positively influence the City's media profile, build organisational capability in stakeholder negotiation, align civic events with business priorities and promote partnership and networking opportunities. Extensive and well-established political, government organisation, business and community networks are required, as this position is responsible for: Coordinating, integrating and supporting the development and maintenance of key stakeholder relationships for the CEO and Executive, both locally and globally. Developing corporate strategic and action plans, processes and measures for stakeholder relations management and engagement and assisting all areas of our organisation through effective stakeholder negotiation; Maintaining effective media relationships and coordinating the City's media releases; Coordinating and contributing to key corporate publications, reports, briefings and presentations. Facilitating stakeholder meetings and other forums. The salary for this position will be negotiated from $86,700 to $96,800 per annum, dependant on skills and experience, plus commute use of a fully maintained City vehicle. POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT The Coordinator Stakeholder Relations and Engagement acts as a key liaison between the City of Swan and stakeholders to originate areas of social, economic and political opportunity for the organisation. The role involves providing advice and assistance to senior management, networking with key stakeholders and industry partners to determine opportunities to increase the City's capacity to attract investment and funding. This includes devising strategic plans for developing these opportunities into tangible benefits for the City. The Coordinator also supervises and mentors staff and projects within the Marketing and Public Relations Business Unit.
