An overview of the auction page 02 03 01 04 Autobid.de is the brand for professional used vehicle auctions, and your quick click to vehicle purchasing offering all the features you ll find at our classic live auctions. The quick overview lists the main functions of the auction page. You will find a more detailed description of all these functions on the following pages. 09 10 01 Registration When you register online you receive a user name and a password. You can use this data to log in. 02 My Autobid.de When you log in as dealer, under My Autobid. de you will find an exact overview of your current auction activity. This way you can easily access all running auctions at any time: You see which vehicle you have purchased in auctions, where you were out-bid, how many vehicles are still subject to a reservation, or which ones you are tracking. You can even manage your search requests here, at one central location. 03 Newsletter The newsletter regularly informs you of new auctions and highlights, and can be found under the menu item Service. 04 Vehicle search You can use this function to filter vehicles according to certain criteria such as manufacturer, model, type of transmission, mileage, etc. 05 All vehicles One click on All vehicles is all it takes to get an overview of all vehicles from the selected auction. 06 Currently being auctioned Here you can see which vehicles are currently being auctioned. 07 Ended This overview lists all vehicles which are finished in the current auction. 08 Auction by manufacturer Here you will find all vehicles which are in the current auction, listed by brand. All vehicles are arranged by types. This allows you quick access to the model you are searching for; for example all-terrain vehicle, estate wagon, etc. 09 Auction barometer This central element of our auction platform displays each bid which was offered, along with the associated user name. Bids in the red area are still subject to a reservation. Once the starting price has been reached the vehicle is free to be auctioned off to the highest bidder, without being subject to a reservation. 10 Hotbid After the official auction time has expired, there is an additional 15 seconds overtime (this Hotbid phase corresponds to the count - ing down of the auctioneer). When the Hotbid phase is over the vehicle is sold to highest bidder. 11 Run agent You can activate a bidding agent at any time, which will bid along automatically up to the maximum bid you defined. This is a convenient way to participate in every auction. 12 Auction status Here you can see whether the vehicle has already reached the starting price, is still subject to a reservation, or was released for sale even under the starting price. 06 07 05 07 08 13 Tracking Create your own personal auction catalogue, and keep track of the course of the vehicles you have chosen during the auction. These vehicles can be found under the menu item Tracked vehicles. 14 Details / Pictures Here you will find all the details of the vehicle. You can also print out this PDF file in the form of a data sheet, including pictures and vehicle specifications. 15 Vehicle transport Our forwarding partners will transport your purchased vehicles at special rates. 06 14 18 15 16 17 16 Handling of payments When you purchase a vehicle in an auction you receive a confirmation e-mail. You will find the original invoice under the menu item My Autobid.de > Mailbox. Following receipt of payment you will receive the vehicle pickup slip in the same way. You (or your for warding com pany) can use this to collect the vehicle on location. 17 Bid history The bidding history documents all bids, with bid time and user name. 18 Offer sheet We offer a free service with which, at a push of a button, you can arrange the vehicle offer presentably, and adapt it to your individual needs. 13 12 11
3. General auction information How does an online auction work? The basic steps of the online auction All vehicles are auctioned off in sequence, in intervals of a minute, and in real time, the same as in our live auctions! The vehicles up for auction are assessed on location by our staff, personally, or by recognized external appraisers. Up to 40 photographs document the precise vehicle condition: Passenger vehicles, utility vehicles, accident-damaged vehicles, motorcycles, trade-ins, leasing and fleet vehicles, plant, service and under-one-year-old used factory/company cars. Auctions take place every working day beginning at 10.00 a.m. Autobid.de It couldn t be simpler! Purchase vehicles conveniently in auctions, from the comfort of your desk. It only takes one click on the desired date to take you directly to the vehicles. The dates are sorted by auctions which are currently online, being prepared, or are already over. Your easy way to success... Login Search Bid Pay Auction Here you will always find the vehicle that is up next for auction, or is being auctioned just at this moment. The auction barometer shows you the status of real time bidding. Here, you can also see whether the vehicle is still subject to a reservation (which is usually under the starting price). You can also see whether the Hotbid phase has already begun, and how many seconds are left until the knockdown of the vehicle. 08 09
4. Initial steps Registration Are you not yet an Auktion & Markt AG customer? As motor vehicle dealer you register only once, and it is non-binding and free of charge. First, fill out the input form. Fields with a star are mandatory; the information here must always be provided. In addition to the online registration, please also send us proof that you are a commercial dealer, and any other documents which may be necessary. If you already have a bidder number from the live auctions of Auktion & Markt AG, please enter this in the available field. You must not send us your registration of the business again. You will receive the data you need to log in by e-mail, as soon as we have a complete set of documents from you, and have checked them over. Current auction Here, with one click, you can go to the vehicle that is currently being auctioned. All vehicles Displays a full list of all vehicles currently being auctioned. Currently being auctioned These vehicles will be auctioned off shortly. Ended Lists vehicles which were already auctioned off. Login After you have received your own personal access data from us, you are authorized to participate in our online auctions. Now enter the user name and password you have chosen yourself, and off you go. You are logged in: Now you have the formalities behind you. Ahead you have access to the best used vehicles in Europe! Now, at the top, you see your user name. Vehicle search Here, vehicles can be filtered by certain criteria such as manufacturer, model, type of transmission, or mileage, etc. You can save your search criteria, and you will automatically be notified by e-mail as soon as vehicles come online that match your search criteria. By way of the start page or the menu items Buy > Dates or Buy > Vehicle search you now have various ways to find your favourite vehicles. 10 11
5. My Autobid.de Bid This list displays all vehicles for which you are currently bidding. These auctions are not yet over. Purchased by auction Under this menu item you will find every vehicle for which you were the highest bidder when the auction time expired. The list displays all vehicles which you purchased in an auction at the starting price or above. Subject to reservation Here you will find all vehicles for which your highest bid was under the starting price when the auction time expired. If the supplier decides to cancel the reservation within seventy-two hours, and to release the vehicle even under the starting price, then you will find your vehicle under the menu item Purchased. We will naturally also notify you by e-mail in such cases. Not purchased After the auction is over, here you can again view all vehicles for which you were out-bid by other bidders. Tracked vehicles In this area you will find all vehicles which you have parked here using the function Tracking, to follow them throughout the course of the auction. You can easily create your own auction list. This way you can always keep track of the status of the vehicles you are interested in. If you make a bid on one of the vehicles listed here, then you can follow the rest of the auction activity under the menu item Bid. My Autobid.de The vehicles for which you have made bids are listed under the menu items mentioned. The current status of the individual vehicles is displayed: For which vehicles am I the highest bidder? For which vehicles was I out-bid? Which of my auctions will soon end? In which auctions did I purchase a vehicle? For which vehicles have I activated a bidding agent? You can sort the lists by starting price, for example, in order to quickly find the vehicles you are interested in. Clicking on an individual vehicle in the lists will take you to a detailed description. Mailbox After an auction is over, under the menu item Mailbox you will find the invoices in PDF format for the vehicles you have purchased. These invoices are in multiple languages, they are created using an official verification process, and are recognized by all the authorities. Once your payment to us has been posted, in the same way you will receive a pickup slip, which authorizes you to collect the vehicle. 12 13
5. My Autobid.de Details / Pictures Clicking on this link will take you to an exact portrayal and description of the vehicle, with 5 main pictures and up to 35 pictures of details, some of which show visual defects. An enlargement can be displayed simply by clicking on the photo. All vehicles are recorded with great care by external appraisers or employees of Auktion & Markt AG. Offer sheet Have you found an interesting vehicle in our auction and you want to immediately show it to your customers? We now offer a free service with which, at a push of a button, you can arrange the vehicle offer presentably, and adapt it to your individual needs. The most important vehicle data and photos are included in the PDF file automatically. If you like you can also add your own data in a form. Whatever the case, you receive the vehicle information arranged in a clear way, for convenient resale. This feature is available in all of the 22 languages. Vehicle data export With our interface to WebMobil24 it is easy for you to market elsewhere online any vehicles you have purchased at Autobid.de. This way, all it takes is a few clicks to offer your vehicles to multiple buyers simultaneously. Your benefits at a glance: Export data and photos You can export the purchased vehicles to WebMobil24, and from there to over 100 more national and international marketplaces among them AutoScout24, mobile.de, and many other major markets Profit from the high data quality of Autobid.de All vehicles were recorded by Autobid.de employees, and intensively checked. It is not necessary to record the vehicle pictures again. Free service This exclusive service is free of charge for Autobid.de customers. 14 15
5. My Autobid.de Your bid Have you found the special vehicle you were looking for? Now there are three ways for you to make a bid: 1. Arbitrary bid: Enter your price in the bid field. 2. Bidding steps: Raise the current bid in steps of 100, 200 or 500. 3. Run agent: Are you unable to follow the auction activity in person for the vehicle you are interested in? Your bidding agent can do the work for you. Under Set bidding agent enter the maximum amount you want to spend for the specific vehicle. The agent will then bid higher than other bidders bids, but only raise the bid by the minimum increase amount of 100. This will continue until you are either the highest bidder when the auction ends, or until your preset maximum bid has been reached, and other bidders have bid higher than this amount. However, at any time you have the option of raising the maximum bid of a bidding agent which has already been set. Please note the following: Bid amounts must always end in full hundreds. The minimum bid increment is 100. Always enter your bid without decimal point, comma or euro sign. (see illustration) Terms of payment Were you the highest bidder for the vehicle? Congratulations! Now what is the next step? In your confirmation e-mail you will again find a short description of the purchased vehicle and the total purchase price. Please transfer this amount to the account indicated of Auktion & Markt AG. After the auction is over you will find the original invoice as PDF file, under the menu item Mailbox (also refer to page 12). You can print this out yourself. After transferring the amount, and its posting on the account, in the same way you will receive your pickup slip which authorizes you, personally, or your forwarder (after receiving a written authorization from you) to collect the vehicle at the respective location. Note: The faster you process the payment, the faster the clearance for pickup can be issued! Surcharge The costs which arise for the highest bidder are in the discount range. A so-called auction surcharge is applied to the knockdown price. Please refer to the current General Terms and Conditions of Business to find out the amount of the surcharge. Bid history The bidding history provides information on which bidder (displayed is his/her user name) at which time made a bid of which amount. Auction barometer This central element of our auction platform displays each bid which was offered, along with the associated user name. Bids in the red area are still subject to a reservation. When the last bid reaches or exceeds (in green) the starting price, the vehicle is cleared for release and is auctioned off to the highest bidder, without being subject to a reservation. Hotbid start Once the official auction time has expired, the overtime period begins our Hotbid phase. This phase corresponds to the counting down of the auctioneer, and usually lasts 15 seconds. During this time you have your last chance to make a bid Going once The Hotbid phase starts....going twice The final seconds of the Hotbid phase are running. If a new bid is made during this time then the clock resets and the virtual auctioneer begins to count down again. When the Hotbid phase is over, the hammer falls....sold! The vehicle is sold to the highest bidder. 16 17
6. Brand portal 7. More service for you In cooperation with the BMW Group (BMW and MINI), and Mercedes-Benz, Auktion & Markt AG operates its own brand-name portals under Autobid.de. Here, online auctions of these manufacturers take place on a regular basis. Only partners of the respective trade and marketing organizations can participate in exclusive auctions. Open auctions of the premium manufacturers are open to all registered motor vehicle dealers in Europe. Buy company cars, cared-for trade-ins, leasing returns and motorcycles at our brand platforms every week. Newsletter You can subscribe to the newsletter under the menu item Service > Newsletter subscription. Then we will regularly notify you about dates, special auctions, and highlights. Autobid.de Web app In addition to the native app, we now also offer you an app-store-independent so-called Web app for mobile use. The Autobid.de Web app is a display of the Web page, optimized for smartphones and tablets. In the Web app you can log in as usual using the standard Autobid.de access data. Similar to your access on a PC, you will find all tracked vehicles, your active search requests, and bids you have made, etc. In contrast to the native app, the Web app offers the integrated bidding function. In addition to that, for suppliers there is an overview of the vehicles supplied and Mobiltax. Download centre Use the opportunity to download or print out our forms or documents yourself. Here, you will find all the important documents which are used in correspondence with us, available for download as original version. Also included is useful information such as instructions for filling out forms properly, and other information on the auction procedure.
