2 ISR Mark IV Modified Property & General Liability Insurance The Hive User Guide Welcome to The Hive Calliden s new online quote request system specifically designed for complex risks within the middle market. The Hive is designed to make transacting business with Calliden easier, faster and more efficient. What are the benefits for me as a broker? The Hive is a simple online quoting tool that allows you to request a quote from your PC, tablet or smartphone. Save time with structured questions and use of drop box and check box answers View and choose the endorsements you want to add for Calliden s defined risk segments: Calliden Domain - specifically designed for Property Owners; Calliden Stronghold - designed for Warehousing and Wholesaling Businesses; Calliden Merchant - designed for Retailers; and Calliden Adept - for Professional Offices Upload documents, photos, maps and surveys View client histories including changes at a glance Instant Quote Request Summary to distribute to various insurers for quotes Quote Schedules are provided within 2 business days (on receipt of full information) Client ready policy wordings within 5 business days Direct access with the underwriter Ability to save and export completed Quote Requests and Schedules. 3 Getting Started If you have not already signed up for an account, you can do so by filling out the brief registration form on Our technical support team will issue you with your unique username (usually within 24 hours). Once you have chosen your password, you will be able to log in and start quoting. The Hive can be accessed through your internet browser at the following address Make sure you save this link in your internet browser s Favourites for easy access. Password and Login To update your password when logged in, select the Update Password tab and follow the instructions 1. Once you have logged into The Hive you will notice the homepage dashboard. At the top right you can start a new quote, or search for an existing client/quote just below. Underneath the search boxes you will see your current quotes listed by status. PAGE 3

4 What does each status mean? Incomplete Quotes A quote that has not yet been submitted to Calliden for assessment. For example, if you are interrupted whilst completing a quote you can click Save and Exit at any time and the quote will be saved in Incomplete Quotes Submitted to Calliden A quote has been submitted to Calliden and is currently being assessed by an underwriter Issued A Quote Schedule has been issued by Calliden and is valid for 30 days. The Quote Schedule can be viewed and downloaded when viewing the quote in full detail. Bound Cover Has been bound. Lapsed A quote has lapsed as it has expired, cancelled as it is no longer required, or declined due to being outside our underwriting guidelines New quotes 2. To start a new quote click on Start a new Start a new ISR quote quote and enter the client or entity name. Once a client is registered, additional quotes can be started under their client file. To find a client that has been previously registered, search their name in the client search box. PAGE 4

5 3. This will take you to a Duty of Disclosure page that you need to read and acknowledge by checking the box and clicking Next. You can then fill in the Insured Details including the number of locations and annual turnover. You have now started a new quote, please take a look around. - You can navigate using the Previous and Next buttons - If at any time you need to leave the quote, click Save and Exit. The quote will be saved under your Incomplete Quotes tab. There is also a Progress Bar within the quote to the right hand side - you can jump between sections using this shortcut. A Notes section is available in case you need to add a reminder or additional details. If you need assistance at any point, please contact the Middle Market Team their details are listed to the right hand side or you can request the Middle Market Team call you at a specified time via the Request a Callback feature. 6 4. If you have selected more than one location, you will need to fill in the details for each location and select the cover required. 5. Sublimits Select and enter the relevant Sublimits for your client PAGE 6

7 6. General Liability Select the check box if required and complete the relevant information PAGE 7

8 7. Limits of Liability You can add deductibles for each section and provide relevant claims information, and upload files. Enter the Crime split % and Brokerage Commission Did you notice the i icons? Hover over these for further information PAGE 8

9 8. Submit Click Finish and Submit to submit the quote to the Middle Market Team. Please note once you have submitted your quote you are unable to make further changes to the quote online. If you would like to make changes after submitting the quote, please contact the Middle Market Team to discuss. To save your time, this can be forwarded to other insurers to obtain comparison quotes. PAGE 9

10 9. View submitted quote Under the Submitted to Calliden tab you can view each of your clients quotes by clicking on Action then resume and download the Quote Request Summary pdf. Once a Quote Schedule is issued the quote can be viewed in the Issued Quotes tab. PAGE 10

11 Frequently asked questions How do I find out my username or password? Once you have chosen your password, you will be able to log in and start quoting. If you forget your username, you can contact our Customer Systems Helpdesk on or techsupport@calliden.com.au. If you forget your password, simply click on the Having trouble logging in option on the log in screen. This will generate an containing a link to reset and choose a new password. How do I create a client? To create a client simply click Register a new client and start a new quote on the homepage dashboard. How do I search for an existing client? Type the name of the client in the search box and click Find. How do I update client or entity name? Type the name of the client in the search box and click Find. Select View client details from the drop down menu for the client and update details. How do I start a new quote? Click on Start a new ISR quote button. This will take you into the registration screens and then into the quote itself. Once all of the information has been completed the quote can be submitted to Calliden. An notification will be sent to you once the quote has been actioned. How do I find a quote I was working on earlier? Quotes that have not yet been submitted to Calliden are saved under the Incomplete Quotes tab. You can resume the quote from here, or locate it using the Quote Search box by typing in the quote number or client name. Will I receive an instant Quote Request Summary? Yes, once you submit your quote to Calliden, you will receive an with your Quote Request Summary. A Quote Schedule will be sent to you within 48 hours and can also be viewed and downloaded via the homepage dashboard. How do I change information in the quote? You can find your quote using the quote number, or searching the client name. Once you have submitted the quote to Calliden you can only view the quote request.
