Schedule of Events Tuesday, August 30 th Storytelling at Montana Jack s / 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Everyone has an airport story (or two) to tell and this will be your opportunity to share and vie for the NWAAAE Storyteller Award. Montana Jack s features a rotating selection of 100 beers 24 on tap and an emphasis on local and regional micro-brews to wash down a long list of specialty burgers and all-american comfort food. Attendees responsible for their own food and drink. Wednesday, August 31 st / 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Communication Leadership Teamwork Workshop / 8:00 a.m. to Noon An interactive workshop that will give attendees actionable take-away communication, leadership, and teamwork skills for personal and professional use by each participant in their teams and airports. Led by Brig. Gen. Kendall Switzer, USAF (Ret), CAPT Randy Duhrkopf, USN (Ret), & Chris Hahn, Ph.D., MBA of Accelerated Teamwork, LLC this workshop will provide valuable tools that every attendee can utilize to enhance operational excellence in their organization. Networking Luncheon / Noon to 1:00 p.m. Golf Tournament / 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Combine classic links-style golf and the stunning natural beauty of Big Sky country to witness a golf experience like no other: the award winning, scenic 18 hole par 72 golf course at Big Sky Resort. Lone Peak Tram Tour / 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A 3-part guided tour adventure including a scenic chair lift ride, a safari style rugged truck and finally a tram that ascends to the top of Lone Peak at 11,166 feet in elevation with views of 3 states and 2 national parks. $65/person and space is limited. Next a tour of the Reach Air Medical Services facility. Last stop - the behind the scenes areas of the terminal including the baggage handling system, groundwater heat exchange system and the generator complex located in the basement. Evening at Museum of the Rockies / 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Don t leave early you won t want to miss the Museum of the Rockies with the largest collection of dinosaur remains in the United States along with exhibits featuring Native American and Montana History. Attendees will enjoy a down home BBQ dinner, time to explore the museum and a presentation by Ted Mathis on Nicholas B. Nick Mamer (1897 1938), a noted aviation pioneer and pilot in the Pacific Northwest during the 1920s and 1930s.

Conference Site All events, unless otherwise stated, will be held in the Missouri Ballroom of the Yellowstone Conference Center at the Big Sky Resort. Transportation Big Sky Resort is located midway between Bozeman (50 miles) and West Yellowstone (55 miles) on U.S. Route 191. The Bozeman Yellowstone Int l Airport (BZN) is served by Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier and United while the Yellowstone Airport (WYS) is served by Delta. For those arriving through BZN, Karst Stage provides shuttle service to Big Sky and is offering conference attendees a special rate (see Chapter website for more info) or the following car rentals are available: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Dollar, Hertz, Thrifty and National. For those arriving through WYS, car rentals are available from Avis and Budget. At the conclusion of the conference on Friday a shuttle bus ($5/person advance purchase required) will depart the Big Sky Resort at 1:30 p.m. for the Bozeman Airport. Once at the Bozeman Airport attendees can choose to get off or stay on for the Airport Tour.
