2 General Information The Western System Power Pool Operating Committee Meeting is held bi-annually to review and discuss the WSPP Agreement. It is a valuable and informative meeting for the industry and participants in the Western power markets. It is EPCOR s great pleasure to host the Spring 2004 Meeting at The Fairmont s Chateau Lake Louise. The Chateau Lake Louise is a world-class resort in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, surrounded with snow-frosted mountain peaks, secluded next to a legendary lake, and showcased by a majestic glacier. We invite you to enjoy the outdoor splendor of this resort and indulge yourself with tantalizing cuisine from Canada, and around the globe. Hotel Reservations For hotel reservations, attendees should call the hotel directly at Reservations need to be made prior to February 9 th, 2004 but please confirm your attendance with the hotel as soon as possible. The conference is during the peak ski season and only a limited number of rooms have been reserved at $225Cdn/night. If you are planning on staying at the resort for the weekend following the conference, a small number of rooms have been reserved and you must book immediately to guarantee the meeting rate and room availability - please call the reservation line prior to December 10 th, 2003 to ensure availability. Callers must reference EPCOR Merchant and Capital s WSPP Conference to receive the conference rate and access the room s secured for the conference.

4 Transportation to and from Calgary International Airport The nearest airport to Lake Louise is the Calgary International Airport, which is located approximately 120 miles east (190 km) of the resort. Most major airline carriers fly into Calgary. 6 DRIVING DIRECTIONS will take you directly to the front doors of the hotel From Calgary International Airport (about 1 hour 45 minutes) Take the only exit road leaving the Airport Continue to follow this road, it will become Barlow Trail Take Barlow Trail South to 16th Avenue Go west (right) onto 16th Avenue 16th Avenue becomes TransCanada Highway 1, which takes you straight through to Banff (45-60 minute drive) In Banff National Park, follow the signs for the town of Lake Louise, continuing on the TransCanada Highway Forty minutes past the Town of Banff, take the turn off marked for Lake Louise Turn left at the intersection and proceed straight on this road (4 km, 2.4 miles) From the East (Calgary, about 2 hours) Take TransCanada Highway 1 West Exit at Banff town site on the right In Banff National Park, follow the signs for the town of Lake Louise From the West (Vancouver, about 9 hours) Take TransCanada Highway 1 East (via Revelstoke, Golden -approximately two hours) For faster travel time, take turn-off for Coquihalla, Hwy 18 In Banff National Park, follow the signs for the town of Lake Louise From the North (Edmonton, about 4.5 hours) Take Hwy 2 South to Calgary (via Red Deer) Then take TransCanada Highway 1 West In Banff National Park, follow the signs for the town of Lake Louise From the South (Montana) Take Hwy 93 North (via Radium) In Banff National Park, follow the signs for the town of Lake Louise
