The 18 th century 113 bedroom Castle has played host over its history to many of Dublin and Ireland s prestigious Banquets, and Weddings. With Over Forty years of tradition in excellence has developed the Castle as one of Dublin s premier Banqueting venues. The Albert & Behan room can accommodate up to 180 people for dinner and dancing. The original banquet suites entrance has recently been completely restyled to include a sweeping spiral staircase, hand crafted Irish designed copper and aluminium lighting, which tastefully compliment the atmosphere. The Regent Suite the Castle s largest suite seats 300 people. Both rooms have their own private bar area and access to the hotels gardens. Smaller dining rooms of up to 100 are available for those requiring a more intimate wedding with smaller numbers. Suite Descriptions Prince Regent Suite This is the Castle s largest banqueting suite and can seat from 120-280 guests for a wedding. An impressive staircase leads the guests from the front foyer of the hotel up to this magnificent room where a wall of windows overlooks a beautiful private back garden. The suite has its own private bar area and access to the back garden and its high ceilings and stunning chandeliers create the perfect ambience for a day to remember Albert & Behan Suite This Suite can accommodate up to 160 guests for a wedding. Your guests will enter the suite through a striking private entrance which leads into the impressive 1847 Foyer with its sweeping spiral staircase, rich tapestries, hand crafted Irish designed copper and aluminium lighting and freestanding black candelabras which together create a wonderfully intimate setting. The suite itself boasts an abundance of beautifully ornate mirrors and chandeliers as well as having its own bar and direct access to a private garden. George Bernard Shaw Suite This suite is ideal for smaller weddings and can seat up to 50 guests. An atmosphere of intimacy is fashioned through soft lighting from the chandeliers and candles strikingly reflected in the wall of mirrors on one side of the room. This room is perfect for an intimate meal with family and friends and the Albert & Behan or Prince Regent Suites can be used in conjunction with the George Bernard Shaw Suite if you wish to have a small family gathering followed by a larger evening reception.
