HLT61107 Advanced Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing) Content Aim of course Pre requisite Entry requirements Delivery Length of course Cost 7 Units of competency (2 core and 5 elective) This nationally accredited qualification provides development of enrolled nursing skills and knowledge in specific areas of nursing practice, including client assessment, care and management across a wide range of health care settings. Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 nursing) The course is offered to Enrolled Nurses who are currently registered with AHPRA. On-line/flexible/self-directed/supported learning 12 18 months (can be completed earlier depending on student study skills) $500.00 course fee due upon enrolment. PLUS: Full fee-paying students: Current course fee is $350 per unit. Eligible students can apply for VET FEE HELP for assistance with course fees if required. National Recognition / Credit Transfer Enrolled Nurses who already hold the exact same units of competency in the Advanced Diploma may apply for credit transfer of these units at no extra cost. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Participants may wish to apply to receive recognition of skills that they have acquired through formal training, other courses, work experience and/or life experience, irrespective of how, when or where the skills have been acquired. Clinical placement/work placement The Advanced Diploma participant benefits from working in a nursing environment when completing the study requirements. Generally, there are no requirements for clinical placement in the Advanced Diploma program.
