1 CHC30112 CERTIFICATE III IN COMMUNITY SERVICES WORK Overview This qualification aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to: Deal with direct contact to clients Identify presenting needs Refer to services and support Duration The Institute recommends that this qualification be completed within six months of commencement. Delivery Mode Off the Job participation in a classroom based learning environment. On the Job participation in specific workplace based learning and assessment tasks (where appropriate). Students will need to identify and negotiate any required work placement with an appropriate community service provider. Commitment Number of face to face days: 15 On the job requirements: Participants will be required to undertake work placement activities within an appropriate organisation or agency Off the job requirements: Participants will be required to undertake self-directed learning outside of classroom delivery Entry Requirements None Assessment Methods Observation Quiz Peer feedback Simulations Question and answer verbal/written Participation in off the job and on the job activities Workplace reports
