Page 3 f 22 1 Intrductin EasyMail Setup is a simple and cnvenient email management tl. With EasyMail Setup yu can create, cnfigure varius dmain email accunts and email accunt features. EasyMail Setup allws users t access email thrugh a preferred email client r by using Webmail. T get started with EasyMail Setup take the fllwing steps: TO LAUNCH EASYMAIL SETUP: Click n the EasyMail Setup icn. The applicatin pens in a new windw. 1.1 Navigatin The main menu is lcated n the tp-right crner f EasyMail Setup. Page 4 f 22 2 Create a New Accunt Here yu can create a new Email accunt r Alias accunt. 2.1 Create an Email Accunt The pstmaster accunt is created autmatically when yur dmain is registered. Hwever, this accunt is nt included as part f the ttal number f available mailbxes. It is very imprtant that yu nt nly keep this accunt, but als, peridically check it fr messages. Fr example, emails that are addressed t a nn-existent accunt will be sent t the pstmaster accunt. Nte: D nt delete the pstmaster accunt - email accunts under a dmain n ur system will nt wrk unless the default pstmaster accunt exists. The EasyMail Setup wizard is a navigatin guide thrugh the email accunt creatin prcess. The setup wizard is designed t create email accunts and alias accunts. Please nte the differences between an email accunt and an alias accunt when creating a new email address. An email accunt has a physical mailbx n the system that can be accessed by any POP r IMAP mail client such as Outlk, Outlk Express, and Thunderbird etc. An Alias accunts is an email address with n physical mailbx, the email address will frward email t an email address with a physical mailbx. With EasyMail Setup creating a new email accunt takes just a few easy steps. First yu begin by entering the new accunt details, secndly yu will set yur spam filter settings and then the prcess is cmplete. TO CREATE AN EMAIL ACCOUNT: 1. Click Create Accunt. 2. Click Create an Email Accunt. 3. Cmplete the fllwing: Page 4 f 22

Passwrd enter a new passwrd Re-enter passwrd cnfirm yur new passwrd Frgt Passwrd Questin chse a Frgt Passwrd Questin frm the drp dwn menu Frgt Passwrd Answer enter yur Frgt Passwrd Answer 4. Click Next. 5. Select junk filtering settings: Junk Filter Status allws yu t select junk filter activity Off turn ff any spam filtering. Light filtering uses a higher pint ttal t classify spam, and therefre is less capable f detecting and filtering ut spam; hwever, if yu have set yur spam t by deleted autmatically, yu may want t use the lighter filtering mde t ensure that regular email classified as spam is nt deleted. Standard Indicates a custm level f spam filtering is turned n and email will be filtered t remve email frm unfamiliar email addresses. Aggressive mde filtering will filter all email that is nt in yur cntact r safe list as junk mail. Please nte: There is always a risk that the spam filter may classify legitimate email as spam. Yu may nt want t enable the autmatic deletin f spam if yu are cncerned Page 5 f 22
Page 6 f 22 abut this pssibility. It is recmmended yu frequently review yur spam, trash and r junk flders t ensure a legitimate email has nt been classified as spam. It is als recmmended that yu add email addresses t yur Cntact lists t ensure yur email accunt receives all emails frm the specified sender. Filter Type ptins fr identifying and flagging email as spam Quarantine Spam email which the spam filter classifies as spam will be held back by the mail server and placed in a "quarantine flder". This flder is called "SPAM. incming". Email which is placed in the quarantine filter will nt be delivered with yur regular email. T review these emails yu will need t visit the crrespnding flder. Email in yur quarantine flder can be viewed by any email client that maintains an IMAP cnnectin with yur email server. Delete Spam email which the filter classifies as spam will be deleted autmatically after the perid specified. Email which is deleted in this manner is unrecverable. Please nte that there is always a risk that the spam filter may classify legitimate email as spam. We d nt recmmend enabling the autmatic deletin f spam due t this pssibility. Tag and Deliver Spam - email which the spam filter classifies as spam will have **SPAM** added t the subject heading f incming email. The tagged email is delivered alng with regular email. This setting is useful if yu wuld like t scan thrugh the email classified as spam by the filter. Yu can set up an email rule which will place email with **SPAM** as part f the subject line int a different mail flder n yur cmputer. Mst email clients, such as Micrsft Outlk r Webmail, supprt email srting Delete Junk yu can chse frm varius time perids after which email classified as spam will then be deleted. Please nte: Junk mail als accunts fr email usage. Junk mail and spam emails will als take up space in yur email accunt. It is recmmended yu frequently review and delete junk mail and spam emails t allw mre space fr yur legitimate email crrespndence and strage. 6. Click Next. 2.2 Create an Alias Accunt An Alias accunts is an email address that des nt have a physical mailbx r email strage space. Alias accunts must be frwarded t an existing email accunt with a mailbx and strage space. An alias email address acts as a frnt giving the appearance f unique email accunt when in actuality it is nly an alternative email address t traffic emails thrugh. TO CREATE AN ALIAS ACCOUNT: 1. Yu can mdify Junk Filtering settings, frwarding settings, r ther accunt prperties. 3.1 Mdify an Email Accunt "Email" accunts are nrmal Email accunts. This is mst likely the type f accunt yu want t mdify. TO MODIFY AN EMAIL ACCOUNT: 1. Click Mdify an Existing Email Accunt. 2. Click Mdify an Email Accunt. 3. Select an email accunt. 4. Click Next. 5. Click Next. 3.1.1 Mre Settings Fr additinal email accunt settings click Mre Settings. 3.1.1.1 Junk Filtering Junk Filtering screen allws yu t change the Junk Filter Status, set the Filter Type that lets yu chse what is dne with yur junk and select time perids when will autmatically delete all Email flagged as junk. Yu may als add emails t the whitelist and blacklist. 3.1.1.2 Webmail Webmail is a multi-featured, brwser independent email system. Easily custmized sme Webmail features include: cntact list, daily schedule, t d list, spell checker and web bkmarks. TO SETUP W EBMAIL: Page 9 f 22

Nte: Yu can chse t precede yur signature with dashes and t place signature befre replies and frwards by selecting the crrespnding check bx field. Webmail language select yur preferred Webmail display language When messages are deleted select the flder t which yu wish t direct yur deleted messages. Click Apply. 3.1.1.3 SyncSuite SyncSuite synchrnizes yur Calendar and Cntacts between yur RIM BlackBerry, Micrsft Outlk, Micrsft Outlk Express, and ther mbile devices. Yur Calendar and Cntact infrmatin is the same when yu use yur Micrsft Outlk at wrk, yur RIM BlackBerry ut f the ffice, and yur Micrsft Outlk Express at hme. Yu can als cllabrate with yur cwrkers by sharing yur Calendars, Cntacts, Tasks, and Ntes with each ther. Page 10 f 22

Cmplete the fllwing: Respnd nly if allws yu t select autrespnder cnditins Sender is anyne the Autrespnder will send the aut-reply message t everyne wh sends an email t the email accunt, chse "sender is anyne" frm the Respnd nly if drp dwn menu and leave the "is" textbx blank. This is the default. Frm an email cntaining the autrespnder will aut reply t messages sent frm a specified email address, chse the "Frm an email cntaining" ptin frm the "Respnd nly if" drp-dwn list and enter the desired wrds cntained in the email address in the "is" textbx. Yu can enter multiple wrds in the "is" textbx. They must be entered with a cmma separated by n spaces. T an email cntaining the Autrespnder will aut reply t the email messages that are sent t a certain address. If yu want the Autrespnder t reply t email messages that are sent t a certain address chse the "T an email cntaining" ptin frm the Respnd nly if drp dwn menu and enter the wrds cntained in the email address in the "is" textbx. Yu can enter multiple wrds in the "is" textbx. They must be entered with a cmma separating entries and with n ther spaces. Page 12 f 22

Fr example, if an email has the specified address in its "CC:" field, the Autrespnder will apply t it. Chse the "CC t an email cntaining" ptin frm the "Respnd nly if" drp dwn menu and enter the wrds cntained in the email address in the "is" textbx. Yu can enter multiple wrds cntained in the email addresses in the "is" textbx. Subject cntains yu can reply t messages whse subject cntains sme specific text. Select "Subject cntains" ptin frm the "Respnd nly if" drp dwn menu and enter the text in the "is" textbx. Is allws yu t select a keywrd fr autrespnder Message Enter the aut respnse message 3. Click Apply. 3.1.1.5 Message Rules The Message Rule functinality allws yu t set rules and cnditins fr incming email messages t yur email accunt. TO SETUP A RULE: 1. Click Add Rule. 2. Page 14 f 22 Name Enter the rule name Field select ne f the fllwing: T, Frm, CC, Subject Match select ne the cnditins prvided Value enter the text that wuld be cntained in the selected field Fr example if yu want T: field cntaining specific text, yu wuld chse cntains and under value enter the text that wuld be cntained in the field selected. If yu want t setup the cnditin fr case-sensitive text cntained in the field check Case-sensitive. Actin select frm the tw drp-dwn menus the desired actin. Fr example if yu want all email messages satisfying the cnditin set abve, chse Cpy and chse Junk. This wuld mean that all messages satisfying the cnditin chsen will be cpied int the Junk flder. 3. Click Apply. TO EDIT A RULE 1. Select the desired rule. 2. Edit parameters. 3. Click Apply. TO DISABLE/ENABLE A RULE Click green clred circle icn. Page 14 f 22

Page 19 f 22 5 Settings Yu can upgrade yur Email features. 5.1 Catchall This functin allws yu t redirect imprperly addressed email sent t yur dmain t a catch-all email address. We define an imprperly addressed email as an email message sent t yur dmain t an undefined email accunt. Example: If yur dmain is "mycar.cm" and yu have nt defined an email accunt fr bill@mycar.cm thrugh EasyMail, all email sent t the 'bill@mycar.cm' address is cnsidered imprperly addressed and will be redirected t yur catch-all email address. TO ENABLE CATCHALL: 1. Click Enable. 2. Enter email address t Frward all Email caught by the catchall t: 3. Click Apply. TO DISABLE CATCHALL: 1. Click Disable. 2. Click Apply. 5.2 SPF (Sender Plicy Framewrk) SPF allws yu t activate Sender Plicy Framewrk (SPF) t prtect against sender address frgery. TO ENABLE/DISABLE SPF: 1. Check Enable/Disable SPF. 2. Click Apply. 5.3 Email Settings This sectin prvides yu with all the necessary infrmatin that yu need in rder t setup yur email accunt n yur cmputer. 5.4 Virus Scanning Email virus scanning prtects yur cmputer frm cmputer viruses which can be transmitted by email attachments; sme f these viruses are designed specifically t spread by email, while thers are accidentally spread when an unsuspecting user sends a legitimate file via email which has been infected with a virus.
