2 Remove the pking mteril from the mhine Hol the green hnle of the rum unit n pull it out until it stops. IMPORTANT DO NOT onnet the AC power or yet. Remove the pking tpe from the outsie of the mhine. Open the MP try, n remove the plsti sheet from the MP try support, then lose the MP try. e Gently pull the ornge pking mteril towrs the front of the mhine to remove it. Press the front over relese utton n open the front over. Remove the sili gel pk. f Remove the 4 ornge pking piees. CAUTION DO NOT et Sili Pk. Disr immeitely. g h Push the rum unit firmly k into the mhine. Close the front over of the mhine. 3
3 Lo pper in the pper try Pull the pper try ompletely out of the mhine. Put pper in the try n mke sure: The pper is elow the mximum pper mrk (). Over filling the pper try will use pper jms. The sie to e printe on must e fe own. The pper guies touh the sies of the pper so it will fee properly. While pressing the green pper-guie relese lever, slie the pper guies to fit the pper size you re loing in the try. Mke sure tht the guies re firmly in the slots. e Put the pper try firmly k in the mhine. Mke sure tht it is ompletely inserte into the mhine. Fn the stk of pper well to voi pper jms n misfees. 4 Connet the power or n telephone line IMPORTANT The telephone line or MUST e onnete to the soket on the mhine mrke LINE. IMPORTANT DO NOT onnet the interfe le yet. Connet the AC power or to the mhine, n then plug it into n eletril soket. Remove the lel overing the mhine's power swith, n then swith the mhine on. WARNING The mhine must e groune using n erthe plug. Sine the mhine is groune through the eletril soket, you n protet yourself from potentilly hzrous eletril onitions on the telephone network y keeping the power or onnete to your mhine when you onnet it to telephone line. The IP ress of the print server is liste on the Network Configurtion List. Open your rowser. Type http://mhine_ip_ress/ into your rowser (where mhine_ip_ress is the IP ress of the printer or the print server nme). For exmple http://192.168.1.2/ Print the Network Configurtion List You n print the Network Configurtion List to onfirm the urrent network settings. Turn on the mhine n wit until the mhine is in the Rey stte. Press Menu, 6, 6. Press Mono Strt or Colour Strt. The mhine will print the urrent network settings. Restore the network settings to ftory efult To restore ll network settings of the internl Print/Sn server to ftory efult, plese follow the steps elow.
