On system using Active Directory (AD) for user ccount verifiction, FortiClient will send the AD user nme nd group to the FortiGte during endpoint control (EC) registrtion. For dditionl mnged clients, n upgrded license must be purchsed. The mximum number of mnged clients vries per device model. 9 Upgrde Informtion FortiClient tools FortiClient includes vrious utility tools nd files to help with instlltions. The following tools nd files re vilble in the FortiClient Tools.tr file: OnlineInstller FortiClient_ _Instller.dmg This is n instller which when run on Mc OS X client, will connect to the FortiGurd Distribution Server (FDS) to downlod nd instll the full FortiClient ppliction. Repckger FortiClientRepckger_ dmg An instller repckging tool tht is used to crete customized instlltion pckges. An Endpoint License for FortiGte is required to use the FortiClient Repckger tool. Upgrding from FortiClient version or lter FortiClient version build 0143 supports upgrde from version or lter. To upgrde follow these steps: 1. In the menu-br, shutdown FortiClient.. 2. Downlod the online instller from the Customer Service & Support portl. 3. Run the online instller to upgrde to FortiClient version Downgrding to previous versions FortiClient version does not support downgrding to previous versions. Uninstll FortiClient To uninstll FortiClient version , use the Appliction > FortiClient > Uninstller ppliction. 9 Relese Notes

10 Firmwre imge checksums Upgrde Informtion Firmwre imge checksums The MD5 checksums for ll Fortinet softwre nd firmwre releses re vilble t the Customer Service & Support portl, To verify the integrity of the downlod, select the Checksum link next to the HTTPS downlod link.
