my.airproducts.com Windows Vista Client Configuration To successfully connect to the Air Products my.airproducts.com website, the client computer needs to have the following three pieces of software installed and working: 1. An installed and running Anti Virus Program (Norton, McAfee, etc ) 2. Whale Communications Components 3. Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server Client (Optional) Warning You will need to have Administrator access to the computer to install these software packages the first time. Future updates will not require Administrator access. Whale Communications Component Installation 1. Open Internet Explorer and connect to http://my.airproducts.com/ 2. The first time you connect, you will be presented with a webpage asking you to install the IAG components. 3. Click on the yellow bar at the top and choose Install ActiveX Control.
4. A security warning may pop up, choose Continue. 5. A second security warning may pop up, choose Install.
6. If you have a pop up block enabled, a window may ask for you to add the site to the pop up blockers allowed sites list. Click on Yes. 7. The Whale Components will ask you if you trust the website you are connecting to. Choose the setting that best conforms to your security requirements and click Trust. If you choose Always, you will not be prompted again until the Whale components are upgraded. 8. You will then be presented with a logon screen. Use the Username, Password, and Domain you were supplied to log on with.
9. After logging on, click on the Remote Desktop Connection application to finish installing the IAG components
10. A warning message should appear letting you know that the browser will restart after the components are completely installed. Click OK. 11. After it installs the components, another warning that the browser will be restarted will appear. Click OK.
12. After the browser restarts, it should take you right into the Air Products my.airproducts.com portal. The icons available to you may differ due to permissions. 13. Click on the Remote Desktop Connection application 14. If you are running the Windows Firewall, you may be prompted to permit the Whale Components. Click Allow to permit the Whale Components to function.
15. The Whale Components will ask you if you trust the website you are connecting to. Choose the setting that best conforms to your security requirements and click Trust. If you choose Always, you will not be prompted again until the Whale components are upgraded. 16. The Remote Desktop Connection application should launch
17. Close the Remote Desktop Application. The Whale Components have been successfully installed. Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server Client Installation (Optional) 1. If you wish to use the AP Citrix Services application through my.airproducts.com and do not have the Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server Client installed, click on the AP Citrix Services application icon found on the Air Products my.airproducts.com Portal. 2. The portal will take you to the AP Citrix Services application. Click on the Download clients from the Citrix Client Download Site link in the Message Center to download the client. 3. Click on the Clients link
4. Click on the Citrix Presentation Server Clients Version 10.150 link
5. Click on the Web Client Package Download Link
6. On the Security Warning, click Run. 7. On the second security warning, click Run again
8. Choose the language you prefer and click OK. 9. On the Citrix Welcome Screen, click on Next.
10. Read the End User License Agreement and click Accept if you agree to the terms.
11. On the Ready to Install window, click Next.
12. On the Installation Completion screen, click Finish.
13. Close the browser on the citrix webpage 14. On the my.airproducts.com Portal page, Click on AP Citrix Services application 15. Click on the yellow bar at the top and choose Run ActiveX Control.
16. On the Security Warning, click Run. 17. Close the Citrix Web Browser. 18. Logout of my.airproducts.com and close the web browser 19. Open your web browser, connect to http://my.airproducts.com, and logon to the portal 20. Click the AP Citrix Services application on the Whale portal 21. The Citrix Web Interface should open up with no errors in the Message Center.
