3 Minimum requirements error Problem description After logging in to the page appears the following error message: Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements for accessing corporate resources securely. Contact the system administrator for assistance. Please quote Reference ID xxxx-xxxx-xxxx/citrixlogonpoint (recorded at xx:xx:xx). Solution This solution was made with Internet Explorer 7 so it will look different to other browsers or versions. You have to delete the cookies in your browser. Here you will find a step by step instruction how to do this. 1. Start your browser 2. Choose Tools Delete Browsing History

4 3. Choose Delete Cookies 4. Press Yes 5. Close your browser and open it again.

5 Citrix applications do not start Problem description When you click on a Citrix application the browser wants to save a file called launch.ica and the application does not start. Solution This problem normally causes when you use another browser than Internet Explorer or when ActiveX is disabled in Internet Explorer. You have then to install the Citrix Web Client manually and in Non-Internet Explorer browsers to link the application to the ICA-Files. Follow these instructions to download and install the Citrix Web Client manually: 1. Follow this Link: 2. Click on Client Center 3. Choose your Operating System

6 4. Download the Citrix Receiver for Web Access. Version, Release Date & Filetsize may differ from Screenshot below! Filetype differs if you have chosen a different operating system than Windows used for this example. 5. In Citrix Download Manager choose Download your file manually. Save the package to your desired location. 6. Close all your browser windows and start the installation of the downloaded package. Click through the installation. 7. When installation is finished you might need to restart your computer. 8. Open a browser and open MyPlace. After Login start your application.

7 If you use another browser than Internet Explorer you have to link the ICA-files with the Citrix Web Client. The following step by step solution was made with Firefox 3.5: 1. Start Firefox and go to myplace Welcome page and Login 2. Open an Application You will see this window 3. Choose Open with Other This windows will appear

8 4. Choose Citrix Remote Application Runtime and Press OK 5. Press OK another time 6. Firefox will download a launch.ica-file and the Application will start.

9 SSL error 47 Problem Description When you start a Citrix Published Application the following error occurs and the application does not start. Solution This problem occurs on a few clients in cause of an old version of the Citrix Client. Please follow these steps to update your client: 1. Follow this Link: 2. Click on Client Center 3. Choose your Operating System

10 4. Download the Citrix Receiver for Web Access. Version, Release Date & Filetsize may differ from Screenshot below! 11 SSL VPN problems Problem Description There are a couple of known problems regarding the connection to MyPlace. Problems with the SSL VPN Client are general problems to establish a connection, connection disruption after a few minutes and a Website not found message after login. Solution The most of those problems occurs in cause of an installation problem of the SSL VPN Client. Please follow these steps to reinstall your SSL VPN Client: 1. Go to Start Settings Control Panel 2. Open Add or Remove Programs 3. Select the Citrix Access Gateway Plugin and click on Remove 4. Reboot your computer 5. Deactivate your Personal Firewall (eg. Checkpoint Zone Alarm, Norman Personal Firewall, Norton Internet Security) 6. Go to Start Run, type services.msc and click OK 7. Verify that the status of the Windows Firewall Service is NOT Started 8. Open an Internet Explorer and login to MyPlace. At this first login you should use Internet Explorer to ensure the complete installation of the client.

12 9. Click on the Yellow information bar and install ActiveX. Netsetup Helper. On the following popup click Run 10. Click I Accept 11. If the installation of the SSL VPN Client takes too long the following two messages appear: Click OK twice. 12. At MyPlace click Logout and close your Internet Explorer 13. Important: Restart your Personal Firewall now 14. Open your preferred browser and login to MyPlace

13 The explorer.exe Process Crashes while the Access Gateway Plug-in is Running Problem Description After installing the Microsoft security update , the users who have installed Windows XP and the Citrix Access Gateway plug-in on the computer observe that the explorer.exe process crashes. Solution 1. Go to Start Settings Control Panel 2. Open Add or Remove Programs 3. Click the checkbox Show Updates 4. Select the Microsoft Update and click on Remove Security Update for Windows XP (KB955759)
