BULGARIAN RIVER SHIPPING JSC / Port Vidin North DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY NEW 70 TONS CRANE IS PRESENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION, SUITABLE FOR HANDLING CONTAINERS AND HEAVY, OVERSIZE CARGOES. COST OF THE PROJECT 2.5 MLN EURO. A SECON CRANE OF THIS TYPE WILL FOLLOW AFTER THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRST ONE IS COMPLETED. THIS WILL PROVIDE 140 mt LIFTING CAPACITY. Port of Vidin North will start operation with the new crane handling containers end of year 2012.

IN ADDITION SPECIALIZED TRAIN FOR GRAINS IS PLANNED TO SERVE DANUBE - AEGEAN SEA STRETCH.
