We operate from Turku, Southwest Finland. INDUSTRIAL DRY BULK Our adaptable and up-to-date fleet of 20 vessels operate mainly in the Baltic and North Sea areas, but can also manoeuvre on a more global scale. 3 PROJECT LOGISTICS Project logistics is part of our core business. Tailored solutions are served as a different kind of combinations such as precarriage, sea transport by vessel or barge, port handling in loading and discharging ports, terminal and cargo handling, warehousing, transhipments and on-carriage to destination. Direct road and rail transport is naturally offered as well as only some part of the delivery chain. Our special purpose vessel 'Meri' is known to be the first cargo ship of this size, which is able to use 100% bio-oil. The bio-oil, VG Marine EcoFuel TM, we produce in our own refinery in Uusikaupunki. The raw material for the biofuel comes from industry side streams, and therefore is not competing against food production. The vessel is also capable of operating in oil spill response activities.
