Booth rates and specifications Booths may be purchased for the full week of Congress or for a portion of the seven days either the first four days or the last three days. ADVERTISING AT CONGRESS Maximize your exposure at Expo through a range of advertising options! Target the right audience As the most avid consumers of information, academics also buy goods and services all year round. Build interest in your products or services by advertising on the Congress website or in the Congress Guide. Drive traffic directly to your own website and build the relationship with a community of opinion leaders. Online advertising Online ad cost: $750 Online ad artwork deadline: Rolling already ongoing Get your ad in early! Online advertising will run on the website within one week of the receipt of artwork and a signed order form, and will run until Congress. The Congress website goes live at least 12 months prior to each Congress and is updated in real time leading up to the event. The website is built using responsive design, so all content including ads is easily visible on all types of computers and mobile devices. The Congress website is the one-stop information and registration resource for attendees. Throughout the year, the Federation drives traffic to the Congress website through the Communiqué newsletter, the Federation blog, association websites, Congress Weekly emails, various printed materials, and a number of social media platforms Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Site traffic is highest from late March to the start of Congress. Peak traffic times on the website are the two weeks after registration opens in January and the week of Congress itself (May 30 June 5, 2015). As a point of reference, from May 1, 2013 to July 1, 2014, the Congress 2014 website had over 112,000 visits, with more than 62,200 unique visitors.

All online ads appear on both the homepage and the internal pages throughout the Congress website. Every ad is given equal viewing opportunity, through the use of automated image rotation. Publications Table Publication table cost: $500 per item Advertisers wishing to distribute materials to Congress attendees may do so for $500 per item. Items will be displayed prominently on the Publications Table in the Congress Expo space and near the registration area where all 8,000 attendees check in, centrally located on campus in Montpetit Hall. Volume discounts Purchase an ad in the Congress Guide and on the Congress website and receive a 5% discount. Purchase three or more ads and receive a 15% discount. In-kind advertising The Federation is open to in-kind advertising arrangements, whereby your organization and the Federation secure online or print advertising space with the Federation, and vice versa. In-kind (or other reciprocal) sponsorship arrangements are negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
