Important message from Mrs. Will When it is necessary that medications be taken during the school day: All medication must be kept in the clinic. Students may not keep any medication in their belongings or on their person. All medications (prescription or non-prescription) will be supplied in their original containers. All medications must be accompanied by a note signed by the student's parents or guardian. No medication will be sent home with the student.( student ({Please send only what is needed at school!)) CAUTIN: CAUTIN: Medication found in a student's belongings or on their person may become a police matter as prescription drugs can sometimes be controlled substances with street value. Students may carry emergency inhalers and epiepi-pens only if there is a doctor's written permission on file in the clinic.
Prom Committee Prom committee will be in Dr. Covington s room during lunch on the 1st and 3rd weeks. Juniors and Seniors are only asked to attend.
Mu Alpha Theta Announcements The UH Mathematics Contest will be held Feb. 9 at the University of Houston Central Campus from 8 am-1pm. The contest is completely free of cost and open to all middle school and high school students. The annual contest consists of Individual Exams, The Smackdown, and the Team Project Competition. Students can take exams in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, PreCalculus, AP Statistics, AP Calculus, AP Physics and calculator usage. Students are eligible to take an individual exam in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II or Pre-Calculus provided they are currently enrolled in the associated course. Every student is welcome to take the AP Statistics, AP Physics, AP Calculus, and calculator usage exams. See Elisabeth Brown or Caitlyn Floyd for contest permission slips.
