II. Newsletter advertising The INTERNET WORLD Business newsletters ecommerce Trends, Morning Newsletter and Afternoon Newsletter are optimised for display on various end devices. Three breakpoints define the differences in display and layout: 320 pixels display width 480 pixels display width 650 pixels display width smartphones (small and medium-sized displays) smartphones (large displays) / tablets (small and medium-sized displays) tablets (large displays) / desktop PCs By means of the full view presentation of our newsletters, the display on mobile devices can be simulated in the browser. Upon zooming into or out of the browser window, the above.mentioned breakpoints become obvious. On three positions, we offer you different options to place your advertisements in our mobile optimised newsletter. You may choose between an animated or static banner advertisement and text advertisement. Please note that animated GIF data can no longer be displayed with MS Outlook 2007 or higher. II. Newsletter advertising 2.1. Banner For positions 1, 2 and 3, we need data in GIF or JPG format with maximum format of 650 x 250 pixels, maximum size of 50 kb and desired target link. This advertising option allows placing a target link or an email address*. Furthermore, we require an alternative text with max. 72 characters incl. all blank lines and breaks. Further formats on request. Please also take into account our three newsletter breakpoints upon creation and/or delivery of your data (page 4). Those breakpoints define the differences in display and layout. In addition to image integration, we also provide you with maximum 10 lines and 500 characters respectively, including all blank spaces, breaks and target links. III. Stand-alone newsletter In addition to our daily newsletters and our ecommerce trends, we also offer you the option to address your target group with our stand-alone newsletter. Advertisement example: For that purpose, we require the respective HTML code which is implemented into our template as shown in the advertising and example. The maximum usable width is 650 pixels. Banner advertisements on our websites 5.1 Leaderboard: 728 x 90 5.2 Skyscraper / wide skyscraper /sticky skyscraper: 120 x 600 / 160 x 600 The prominent placement at the upper edge of the page and its superior size guarantee highest awareness and excellent advert impact. The skyscraper / wide skyscraper can also be embedded as sticky skyscraper. Upon scrolling the site, it moves downwards and sticks to the upper edge of the browser. Thus, your advertisement always remains visible for the customer. 11

The content ad is an eye-catching advertising format which is directly placed within the editorial content of the website and thus attracts the reader s attention. 12

Banner advertisements on our websites 5.5 Wallpaper / Hockeystick: 728 x 90 + 120 x 600 / 160 x 600 5.6 Layer: individual This advertising format offers the unique option to shape a whole website with your corporate design of a brand and/or the look of a campaign. A layer is automatically faded out by our system after 12 seconds and a close button attached to it (if not already done by you). Wallpaper: On request, we colour background with a colour defined by you or make it clickable. 13
V. Banner advertisements on our websites 5.7 Banderole ad: 770 x 250 5.8 Floor ad: 940 x 50 2. Tile 1. Main 3. Close-Button banner The visibility of a banderole ad is 15 seconds maximum. The advertisement must have a close button that resets the advertisement into the initial condition (closed). This advertisement is only possible with physical Flash or image advertisements. 3 components are required: 1. Main banner: image or Flash with a maximum width of 940 pixels, height 50 pixels. 2. Image for the flexible right end of the banner. This must be a tileable image which is repeated as a background on the horizontal axis. 3. Image for the close button with transparent background. 14

Banner advertisements on our websites 5.9 Billboard: 940 x 250 5.10 Half page ad: 300 x 600 The Billboard is placed below the horizontal navigation and features a unique combination of emotional address and usability. Animated images or videos guarantee high awareness and interest. This advertising format ensures extra awareness through integration into the site structure. The generous sizes (940 x 250 pixels) grant the advertiser much space for design and information. 15
V. Banner advertisements on our websites 5.11 Expandable ad: individual Expandable ads are created through mouse-over. The expanding effect is activated when the user moves the cursor over the advertisement and is deactivated upon leaving the area (back to original size). Transparent areas must not be clickable. The advertisements must start in closed condition and must not exceed a maximum width. Banner advertisements on our websites 5.12 Pushdown ad: 728 x 300 Initial size: Expanded size: 728 x 90 pixels 728 x 300 pixels Upon visiting a site, the pushdown ad format opens up automatically and moves down the whole site for 7 seconds maximum. Through mouse-over, the advertisement can be opened again by the user at any time. In contrast to the expandable ad, the pushdown ad can be embedded into the site structure and does not cover any content. This advertising form is only possible with physical Flash or image advertisements. VII. Delivery In order to test the delivered data and to realise the envisaged campaign start, all data must be entirely available to us three work days before the campaign starts. Should the data be incomplete or corrupt, the booked quantity of ad impressions cannot be guaranteed.
