We need volunteers to rake, throw out seed and straw/wood chips. We have only two work parties this month and will return to our regularly scheduled work party December 7th. Installation Banquet Dec 28: please save the date We are planning our annual installation banquet at Zio Fredo's in Pleasant Hill. President s Message By Angel Yarnell" The rehabilitation progress continues at a very good clip. With the winter weather growing near we will begin the anti-erosion phase on the vulnerable areas now. A full description of that phase will be discussed at November's meeting. We will also discuss the updates on the range rehabilitation in general and near future phases as well. Don't forget that this meeting is also the election meeting and a good time to socialize with fellow members." We continue to receive support from sister clubs, individuals and local businesses as well as our members providing long work hours, financial support and donating food to feed our volunteers. " Although we do thank those clubs and businesses for their support it is Details will follow via Bulletin. 1

best to show your appreciation by patronizing those entities. So remember when sister clubs hold their novelty shoots make sure you attend those when you are able and not only have a good time but also show our support of their club. As well with businesses that have been supporting our club please give your business to them. When you need those archery products go and visit Fat Shafts or West Coast Archery. When you need to rent a piece of equipment go visit Wally Rents. This is a good way to show our appreciation for their support of our club in our time of need. " Election Meeting The membership meeting and elections will be held after the work party at Mountain Mike's Pizza in Clayton on Nov. 2, 7pm. Please feel free to come early if you would like to purchase Pizza and Drinks This is an important meeting as we will have a fire recovery update and elections. Past Work Parties The work party on Oct. 12, 2013 was another great showing of support from our own members, Silverado members and I know there were other individuals out there not connected to an archery club. Diablo Bowmen thanks all of you for your support. I have a great picture of Brian running his monster tree moving machine. That large tractor is a savior. Lunch once again was donated by members Chuck and Sharla. Chuck cooked some wonderful chili, brought tortillas and 8 homemade pies. They were all delicious. Sharla donated a most colorful fruit salad and torta bread for the meat. The club had meat in the freezer left over from a pre-fire event. Brad and Angel did the BBQ for sandwiches.
