4 Points from the Pro-Shop By: Brian L. Summer Head Golf Professional/Manager I want to thank those that participated in the Iron Person tournament on Saturday February 27. We had a great time trying to play the course set up the hardest I had ever seen it! Congrats to the winners or should I say survivors! Hope more of you will try to compete next time we have this fun tournament! I know everyone will be looking for a place to take their family to eat on Easter Sunday. We have a great meal planned at the club in the ballroom and hope all our members and guest will think about attending. Please spread the word about the meal here on Easter! With March finally here I should have the pro shop stocked with some spring apparel from Adidas toward the end of the month. I plan to have new men s and women s short sleeve clothing in stock. Also don t forget that with the spring here it s a great time to have your grips changed on your clubs. This should be done each year to make sure you don t have the club slipping in your hands. I can do the re-gripping on site. If your looking for a group to play with on Tuesdays, we have an open group that starts at 11:00. All you need to do is show up before 11:00 and you will be put on a team. We also have an open group on Fridays. This group starts at 12:30 but you must be signed up in the pro shop by 12:15. This group plays with full handicap. Please don t hesitate to call me about joining either of the groups, they would love to have all that want to play! This is the perfect time of the year to sign up a friend, family or neighbor for a membership here at the CCN. The Board recently made a decision to offer any member free carts fees for signing up a new member for a year as long as the new member remains in the club up to a year! You will still have the option to receive a free months dues instead. Please bring out some guests so we can get them to join!
