Summer Greetings from TCS... Dear TCS Families, I hope this letter finds you having a wonderful summer! We are missing our TCS students, but keeping busy with prospective family visits, summer camps, and preparing the records for our MANY transitioning students. If you should need assistance or have questions over the next several weeks, please feel free to call TCS or contact me directly by e-mail (lcd@udel.edu), as I will be in and out this summer. Mrs. Bachman is available weekly, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm (302-831-0222) or (jbachman@udel.edu). We finished two weeks of Robotics camp with HUGE success! Our 1 st through 4 th grade campers had a fabulous time engaging in the many activities each day offered. On July 6 th, we will begin two weeks of Digital Movie Making Camp. I want to take a brief opportunity to share a few end of the year remarks, as well as some for the new school year ahead. I truly appreciate the enthusiasm displayed by all who attended our CLOSING CEREMONIES on June 5 th. What a delight to have our children host and entertain us with our 3 rd annual spring fashion show! Every child contributed a special part to the performance I m so proud of each one. This time of celebration and farewell triggers many emotions; however, while it is hard to say good-bye to members of our TCS community, we celebrate the many achievements and thank YOU for your support this year. Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate visits from our Alumni, and can t wait to hear about their new schools! Again CONGRATULATIONS on a wonderful school year!!! Finally, for those new children and parents joining us in September. I assure you that becoming a part of The College School will be a unique and rewarding experience. As one journey ends, it is always exciting to watch this new one begin! Enjoy your summer vacation and I look forward to seeing you soon! All the best, Mrs. Dougherty
