DIVING COURSE NEW ACTIVITIES The following activities will take place: Diving Course Theoretical & practical lessons (2 in the swimming pool and 5 dives in the sea by boat). All necessary material and equipment included. Open Water International Certificate presented at the end of the course. Visit to the Dalí Museum. Barbeque and disco. STONAR SPORTS CAMP NEW ACTIVITIES This new activity enables boys and girls to e n j o y t h e i r f a v o u r i t e s p o r t i n a n international atmosphere and totally immersed in English. In the morning theoretical and practical sessions to improve English level and in the afternoon take part and enjoy different sports to perfect the basics of the chosen sport and encourage socialising with other participants. MULTI-SPORT CAMP ACTIVITIES Introduction to learning the main characteristics of each sport e.g. rules and regulations, basic technical tactics, skills etc. Team and individual sports e.g. paddle tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, handball, baseball, swimming, athletics, hockey etc. and different fun sport activities. Swimming lessons every day. Except Wednesday when there is an excursion. Capoeira, fencing and yoga lessons and exhibitions. Practise and improve basic skills of each sport through exercises and games. H8S FOOTBALL CAMP ACTIVITIES Activities will take place with the following three main objectives: Improve football techniques. Enjoy and have fun with their favourite sport. ACADEMIC SUPPORT OBJECTIVES Re-sit examination preparation (Secondary and Baccalaureate). Revision and consolidation of work (Primary 4, 5 & 6, Secondary and Baccalaureate). Learning in different subject areas e.g. English, mathematics, etc. ORGANISATION Small groups according to subject and level. Each level will have an hour a day for each subject. Possibility for individual support. Secondary and Baccalaureate students who have attended the Directed Study Course will be able to present themselves for examinations at the end of July and, if they pass, their mark will be taken into consideration for the September evaluations. Coordination with teachers for each subject. Possibility to use the Library between classes. Possibility to combine Directed Study Course and other activities in July. SUMMER CAMP IN ENGLISH LESSONS Fun activities to promote oral expression, increase vocabulary and gain confidence when speaking in English. Students will enjoy three hours a day of English workshops with native teachers. OTHER ACTIVITIES Discovery of the world, group games, gymkhanas, games and different art activities, drama and theatre to stimulate creativity and imagination with swimming and night activities.
