6 Guided writing: Describing where you live there is / are, has / have got I live in the centre of London, about five minutes from the Marble Arch underground station. There s a park about five minutes from my flat, Hyde Park, and there s also a lake in the park. There are some shops in the area - supermarkets and corner shops. There s a good sports centre with a swimming pool and lots of bars and restaurants. My flat is near the historic centre and about minutes from the river. My flat is in an old building. It s got four bedrooms, a sitting room, a kitchen and a bathroom. It hasn t got a balcony or terrace but it s got big windows and lots of space and light. I really like the sitting room because it s got a view of Marble Arch. It s a comfortable and relaxing room with a sofa, a dining table, some shelves and a TV.
