For the project the consortium made a partnership with Embraer (Aircraft anufacturer) and Almadesign (Industrial Design Company) as well as several other technology companies such as Sernis and Caiado with support of PEMAS Portuguese Aerospace Industry Association. LIFE was funded by the Portuguese National Strategic Framework Programme (QREN) under the Operational Programme for Competitiveness Factors (COMPETE) and European Regional Development Fund (FEDER). 18
