This shows a minimum requirement for the purposes of defining the design development. It is the appointed contractor s responsibility to provide in addition, all further setting out and construction details necessary for the installation of the services covered by the scope of their works. 2. In addition to the information scheduled below, the contractor is responsible for: Element Small Power, Fire, Security, Ancillary, plant location, lightning protection, containment Lighting. Emergency lighting Main electrical Fire alarms and security Presentation Plan layouts Schematics (i) Final circuit cables to be sized (ii) Primary plant spatial fit based on final plant selections and final plant layout (iii) Primary containment checked and re-sized where necessary to take account of final cable configuration (iv) Secondary containment sized to take account of final cable configuration and routing (v) Final co-ordination with other services to ensure that all services as designed can be accommodated within the allocated spaces. (vi) In existing buildings, final co-ordination with existing services and building fabric to ensure that all services as designed can be accommodated within the allocated spaces.
