OPHTHALMOLOGY UPDATE 345 Stockton Street December 12-13, 2014 The UCSF Ophthalmology Update will update practicing ophthalmologists on advances in: glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, retina, oncology, oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, cornea, refractive surgery, external disease, and uveitis. We specifically anticipate improvements in skills and strategies to: Minimize errors in IOL power selection; Understand the role of intracameral antibiotics in the prevention of endophthalmitis; Mitigate ocular surface dysfunction after LASIK and PRK; Diagnose and manage normal-pressure glaucoma; Evaluate and treat blepharospasm; Prevent and treat diplopia after cataract surgery; Evaluate the optic nerve in patients with glaucoma. ACCREDITATION The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
