2 VOL 5 NO 3 MAY/JUN 2014 About JADPRO LIVE The third annual JADPRO LIVE conference will be held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO) on November 5-8, 2015, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona. The audience for this CE-accredited live conference is nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists, advanced degree nurses, hematology/oncology nurses, pharmacists, and physicians. Preconference workshops will be offered on Thursday afternoon, and the conference will begin with a welcome reception on Thursday evening. The program will continue all day Friday and Saturday and will conclude by 11:00 am on Sunday. The CEaccredited educational sessions presented throughout the conference will include didactic, interactive, evidence-based and fair-balanced content targeted to advanced practitioners (APs) in oncology. Advanced practitioners and physicians will come together in a team setting to discuss current treatment options and advances in the care of the patient with cancer, describe key practice initiatives that are essential to the AP, and identify means to improve collaboration all with an ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and decreasing adverse events.
