2 A Nursing & Advanced Practice Provider Collaboration Course Overview The is designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists, and other health care professionals dedicated to the field of hematology/oncology that practice in settings across the continuum of care. During this two day conference, attendees will benefit from an intimate learning environment in which renowned faculty will present the latest in evidence-based oncology care and provide practical strategies and tools helping you to improve quality of life and outcomes for patients with cancer and their families. Discuss new therapeutic options for the treatment of a number of common malignancies. Identify strategies to integrate evidence-based cancer care into your practice. Describe evidence-based standards of care including innovations in diagnosis and treatment. Accreditation Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP15199, for up to 13.5 contact hours. No partial hours will be given. Credit breakdown by day: Friday - 7 contact hours Saturday contact hours American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) This program is approved for 7.5 contact hour(s) of continuing education by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Program ID This activity was planned in accordance with AANP Accreditation Standards and Policies. American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) This program has been reviewed and is approved for a maximum of 11.5 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME credit by the Physician Assistant Review Panel.
